Open Google Maps: Visit the Google Maps website (maps.google.com) or open the Google Maps app on your smartphone.
Sign in to your Google Account: If you're not already signed in, click the "Sign in" button in the top right corner and enter your Google Account credentials.
Switch to the Edit Mode: In the top-left corner of the Google Maps interface, click the three horizontal lines to open the main menu. From the menu, select "Edit the map."
Locate the desired area: Use the search bar or navigate manually to the location where you want to add the road.
Add a missing road: If the road you want to add is missing or incorrectly displayed, look for the "Missing Road" option in the left sidebar. It may also be labeled as "Add a missing place" or something similar. Click on this option.
Draw the road: On the map, you will see a prompt asking you to "Draw a line or shape." Click on the map at the starting point of the road and continue clicking along the path to draw the road. You can add multiple points to create a more accurate representation of the road's shape.
Provide road details: Once you finish drawing the road, a form will appear where you can enter information about the road. Fill in the necessary details such as the road name, direction, and any additional information you have.
Submit the edit: After filling in the details, review the information to ensure accuracy. Click the "Submit" or "Save" button to submit your road addition.
Wait for verification: The added road will undergo a verification process by Google's mapping team. If the road meets their criteria and is verified, it will be added to Google Maps.
Note: Google Maps relies on user contributions and verification processes to update and add new roads. It may take some time before the road appears on the map, as it depends on the review and approval process.
