Hey there, fellow wanderer! 🌍🚶♀ I must say, Warnemünde looks like an absolute gem! 💎 The scenic seaside resort, with its long sandy beach and charming old buildings, seems like the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of Germany's Mecklenburg region. 🏖🏰 It's incredible how you've captured the essence of this place through your travel guide. 👏🎥 The lovely flowers on the streets add a delightful touch to the city's atmosphere. 🌺🌸 And those traditional German foods like schietznel and currywurst sound absolutely mouthwatering! 🍻🌭 Thanks for sharing this incredible journey with us, and I'm definitely adding Warnemünde to my travel bucket list! 📝😊👍 New Sub!
Warnemunde is an interesting place to visit .The views are stunning plus the street food not to mention the beer you were drinking .It looks like you guys are having a great time.
Oh! I can see the sausage that I enjoyed during my trip to Germany in your video! When it comes to Germany, it's definitely beer and sausage! Thank you for sharing Warnemunde, a beautiful city, with a detailed description! I really enjoyed watching your beautiful and useful video until the end! Hello! Greetings from 100tour KOREA! Nice to meet you, my friend! See you! Have a wonderful day!
Our mouths water for brats and beer whenever we even think about Germany! We really appreciate you being here, giving a watch and taking the time to leave a comment. Take Care!
Warnemunde looks worth a visit. We haven't been yet it isn't that far ( 674km shortest route by car). The place name is Rostock the area Warnemunde. Being curious about the name on the pier/dock/port building I had to delve into that 🤪! Certainly worth roaming around and discovering the delights closer to the cruise ship. Great coverage and useful information. 👍🇳🇱🙋♀🇳🇿👌
You are close enough to make that a fun little trip. You guys have great summer seaside areas too, but this might be a great city to discover. And the city of Rostock is very close so you could get to both! In fact, if you took an extra day, Mecklenburg is also close by - and absolutely worth a visit!!1
I love Germany. So clean....I was last there in 2005 at Sembach, AFB. My favorite foods are the schietznel and currywurst.... And I got lost driving....was really late for work. Was at Paris border...they laughed hard at me.
Jonathan lived in Munich for a few years as a kid, and my (Jennifer's) dad was based in Heidelberg (is this the same base you were at?). We both love coming back and have found the north to be so different from the southern part of the country. We just had schnitzel a couple days ago - Yum!
So glad there's something useful/helpful here. We try to balance the pretty pics with useful info. Your on top of useful info, so coming from you, it's high praise!
Very nice presentation... street food is the best... yes, sausages are the best in Germany and Austria... our favorite is the street wurst of Vienna... we are not impressed by the beach but, this is a place to explore. Is this a cruise stop destination? Definitely worth visiting. 😍
This is a REALLY popular cruise ship destination, but most cruise lines will bill it as a port for Berlin. It is not very close to Berlin, and would make traveling to Berlin and back a long day. We think the town is nice enough to spend the day there rather than try to catch a train, or have to take a bus. But, if people have never been to Berlin, and that's there only chance to go, then doing it on a cruise ship tour, is probably a pretty good option.
@@welltravelledlife Yes, it is a really nice little town... I guess it depends on how much time you have available... and Berlin is a large town. I am sure you'll need more than few hours to see something.
@@honestholidayreview That's just it. We've spent days in Berlin and still don't feel like we know the city well. You can get around and catch photos of some of the iconic places, but to really explore the city, get a feel for its history and understand what makes it special, takes more than a few rushed hours in a bus.
looks like you had a wonderful time in North Germany, thank you for showing us around 😍 we would love to visit this part as well, so your info was very useful 💛 safe travels! greetings from the Dolomites
Definitely get Northern Germany on your list. It's so different from the south. And if you have time, there are a number of pretty towns we'd recommend: Rostok, Mecklenburg and Hamburg would join Warnemunde to make the list!
The perfect video. If I had to pick one video of yours to share with my friends and my network to show them how awesome you are, how great your videos are, and encourage them to subscribe to your channel, it would be this one. I loved your stories and insight on how to find the best sausages, where to use the bathroom, and your hunt for the windmill. I also loved that you were outside and moving while you were on camera, versus sitting down inside a room
Yay! We're making those changes and we're so glad you're seeing the difference in the videos. Keep the suggestions coming - you're helping us get better every time!
Take a video pic of you when you were sitting. The overcast sky makes the best pics to me.The city background behind you is beautiful. Will stay tuned!
Overcast skies make for great lighting, but we were pretty excited to get the sunshine that day. Every time we've been to Warneunde we've had rain at some point in the day. And even on this sunny day, we got rain later in the afternoon. That's the Baltic!
We're so grateful you stopped by our channel and gave this video a watch. And we really appreciate you taking the time to comment. We think the town is pretty cute too!
Looks like you had a good time in Warnemünde! In my opinion, you found the best bratwurst in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort! Best regards from Rostock / Warnemünde! Philli Gran
We were back in Warnemunde again this month and stopped for the same bratwurst again. The owners think we’re regulars now! Thanks so much for stopping by!
It's crazy, but after each upload, we look for your comment. Please don't stop - We always appreciate your thoughts. Especially knowing what amazing videos you put out. We're waiting for you to start giving us tips.
I'm travelling with a small group. Some want to travel to Berlin. I watched this video and believe I'll enjoy Warnemunde and possibly Rostock. I appreciate the video.
If this is the only chance you'll ever have to go to Berlin, and you love a big city, Berlin is worth the trip. But it's a full day and a little like taking a drink out of a water fountain. With just one day, I think you'll love Warnemunde. We have spent many days there and enjoyed the shopping, walking, beach time, and numerous cafes, restaurants and small eateries. We're so glad you watched and found it helpful as you decide how to spend your time there.
Really appreciate your comment and the clarification. The first time we were there, we were coming by cruise ship and when we saw the Rostock label on the sign at the port, we were totally confused and wondered if we’d had a port change and were in the city of Rostock. Now we understand. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Hello nice and very informative video. I enjoyed watching. What time of the year did you visit? We're going in august this year wondering what the weather would be like.
We’ve been there in June, July, August, September and October. And we’ve had rain, sun, wind, and clouds during all of those months. But it is a beach destination, so I would plan for good weather.
I was born here, and I can tell you that in August it is generally still warm I would say the lowest temperature in August will most likely be about 15° (59 °F) and the highest about 22° (71 °F)
May I ask you is it convenient to take the ferry from Warnemunde to Rostock and back? Do I need to watch out for the time to take the ferry back to the ship dock? Thanks
You can take the Blau Flotte from Warnemunde to Rostock. The trip takes about an hour. If you’re looking for a quicker trip, you can take the train. Always watch your time - don’t cut it too close. But we have seen ships staying later in port which is nice.
Thank you for this video! I'm taking a cruise that stops in Warnemunde, and my friend and I had already decided we'd rather visit a cute German town than take a train to Berlin. (One day I'll make it to Berlin, but then I really want to visit Berlin, not spend a quarter of my day on a train. One question: Do you remember the name of the church?
It is the Warnemunde Church. We think you’ll really enjoy the town. And yes, one day you’ll get to Berlin and do it right. Berlin takes a full day, but we think you’d be better off spending at least 3, so that you have time for museums, meals, and activities.
You can get to Lubeck, Mecklenburg or Hamburg, but you’re going to spend a lot in travel time. The cruise ships will offer those excursions from Kiel, but you could do them from Warnemunde if you took the train. Just check schedules carefully.
