Yes, I asked the Lord about him for 9 months and on the 27th day of the 10th month the answer came. I prayed in my mind and never outloud as I didn’t want Satan manipulating events. I heard the name of the man last year in June. It’s already a little over a year now. The Lord is still healing me from the past before I marry. Many counterfeits are coming my way so God’s promise seems to be getting closer! There’s so much to do before this time, and no further instructions from the Lord but a reminder in silent prayer this past May! Please pray for me! I’m nervous but excited and a little frustrated at this point as I’m weary of hearing awesome things from men that do not possess my future husband’s name 😕.

I'm amazed that someone as young as you has the right knowledge of God. Goes to show the time that you spend with him in love. Many people, only after making all the possible mistakes in life, learn who He is and what His simple expectations concerning our lives is. Really I did pray for my patner ..but till today... I have not seen yet ..sometime my faith going down slowly and slowly . Almost around 5 years ..it seem to me ..joking I cannot pray anymore ..but Jesus is still the King, even I lost everything ...infront of him ...nothing I am I am just a slave

Just like you said we can't give God our checklist, I picked my wife on my own I used to be an unbeliever well it was many years of pain and misery. When Jesus saved me my wife and I didn't have the same interests anymore she loved her old ways and Jesus totally changed my ways, heart so I prayed to Jesus if me and my wife were going to stay together and I heard his voice audibly he said my prayer was answered if it would've been the other way I would've had to be obedient. Jesus is real , he loves us and he will send you the one his choice not ours.Stay faithful, obedient take care sista have a great day God bless you and your family God is good

It's painful sometimes to wait because of the temptations but when I pray for God's help or ask for who He has for me, he always answered my prayers, helped me come out of my temptations, guarded my heart, reassured me with promises . Prayer is not the only part - faith-action is the second part. We need Gods confidence in us to be bold and seek results. I’m 48 and single and ‘creative’. I’ve prayed everyday - but I’m shy. Pray, but also DO.
Although this video is 3 years old it couldn't have popped up in my feed at a better time. I prayed for God to reveal "the one" to me. I believed he did and have been confirming it for the past 3 years (or so I thought- I'll elaborate later). So I met this person and we're getting to know each other. He's super sweet and very gentleman-like. The problem was, that was his way of "pursuing" me and I had no idea. I mean how was I supposed to know? I thought he was just being nice. The type of pursuit I'm used to is- "hey can I get your number or can I take you out sometime?" So that's what I usually respond to. He has never asked me out either through text or talk nothing. Unfortunately I need to get married to get out of this frustrating situation that I'm in because it's been 12 years and it's been 3 years since I've met this person. The other day I prayed that the right person that he has for me will pursue me in a way that is not confusing. Literally 3 days later I got off the train and I met this guy. And he wasted no time to get my number. So now I'm just at a crossroads. I honestly can't wait another year or more for this situation to sort out. But the person I think God says is "the one" is just blah and it doesn't help that I'm no longer interested in this person.

God understands what is good for all of us. May you be encouraged to love God first above all else and seek His face and righteousness first. I dont think I'm ever gonna find the one I'm 31 years old haven't found no one for years but if that's the way it has to be I'll stay single
God will definitely give you the one he made for you
God provides all things trust me I prayed for friends he gave them to me had to wait awhile but he gave me friends I won't regret having in the future
