Ooh . . . this is tempting! Did it ever feel uncomfortably warm? I could not use Newa because I had two experiences where the device overheated and stung me. And I have a couple questions. I am considering Botox on my 11 lines and mouth next month. Will this interfere with Botox or filler? Thanks and have great weekend, Jodylynn!
Hi Debbie! It does not get anywhere near as warm as Newa. I even hold it for 10 seconds and it never gets hot. It's just a nice, cozy warm sensation. I hope that helps. Good question about Botox let me find the answer for you! Also, I think this device would be great on your 11s because of the size and you can really target the area. I love this, and do use it for the lids. I've transitioned to RF under the eyes but use the Venus on the lid and hood paired with my microcurrent on the hood as well. I do NOT use Microcurrent on the lid. Just the Venus. I hope that helps!

Hello thank you so much! I do the same thing I do for the eyes for the eyes. Bottom lip 1 minute red, upper lip red 1 minute. Still using the red, I hold for 10 seconds on each part, 3 parts on upper and 3 parts on bottom. Blue mode is 30 seconds on upper and 30 seconds on lower. I hope that helps! ♥️🙏

I use ordinary hyaluronic as you recommend. But do you add more before the minute is over? I assume i'm putting enough. Once it passes 30 sec the skin dries up..

Is the blue mode supposed to feel cool on the skin? I used it as you demonstrated after using the red but the whole time on blue the device still felt warm.

Hi Jodylynn, do you have to stop using retin-A to use this device or the Lumo? I am using the Zipp but have not notice any changes yet?
Hello! No you don't need to stop your retin-A. I add my Tretinoin about an hour after I use the Lumo and I have no problems. But everyone is different. You can always skip the retin-A on the days you use the Lumo. I would experiment with it. How long have you been using the Ziip and how often?

How long do you use the Venus around your lips? A minute for red and a minute for blue?
Yes!
When I do the blue light on this, it doesn't feel cool. It feels warm, like the red light. Is something wrong with mine? Also, can you put these devices in your suitcase on a plane?
Hello! Yes, you should be able to put these devices on a plane, I do! The blue light is not cool. Also, if you used the red light first, it will still be warm from that treatment. I hope that helps!

Would the Venus work on the '11' between the eyes - and/or the neck area?
No, it will not help with those areas.
Do you recommend this or the Nira for skin tightening around the eye?
I'm not sure yet, I have not used the Nira long enough. They are very different technologies. I'll do a video soon.

I bought this device because my eyes are my biggest aging concern. I used it tonight for the first time but I don't feel any warm sensation at all. Should I be feeling something? I am not sure if my device is defective. I have the MBK eye rejuvenator and I definitely feel a warm sensation when using that. Do you feel the tip of the Venus warm to the touch? Mine is practically cold. I have to press and hold pretty hard to feel the slightest warmth. I feel nothing when gliding the device around my eyes.
Hmmmm....it take a few seconds to warm up. But I do feel a warming sensation. It's not hot by any means. Is it on the red mode?

Does the serum need to be wet while using this device or can you let it soak in and dry and then use it?
You could use it dry however , it won't glide very well at all. I prefer to use it when the serum is wet.

If heat is what is needed to achieve the effects this device does, wouldn't then a different way if optimal heating is achieved do the exact same thing? My attachment on theraface gets hot, so wouldn't that be same as this if heat is the reason this device works?????? I have been very curious about this device and what it does. There is a rf for eyes tripollar makes.

"Thank you for your question. While it is true that heat is a factor in achieving the effects that our device produces, there are important differences between the thermal heating delivered by our device and other methods of applying heat to the skin.
Venus is specifically designed to deliver thermal heating to the dermal layer of the skin, which is the layer that contains collagen and elastin fibres. This targeted thermal heating stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the overall texture and tone of the skin. Venus utilizes thermal heating, which is the application of heat to the skin to help stimulate collagen production. However, it's important to note that the heat needs to be at a specific temperature of 42 degrees Celsius in order to cause the desired results. While other heated devices may also generate warmth on the skin, we do not have information about their temperature and how that heat is delivered to the skin. Therefore, we cannot speak to their effectiveness in promoting collagen production.
Regarding the Theraface product that you mentioned, I cannot provide a comparison as I do not have information about that product. However, it's important to note that simply applying heat to the surface of the skin may not be enough to stimulate collagen production in the dermal layer.
It's important to note that our device is not an RF (radio frequency) device, as applying RF to the delicate skin around the eyes can be damaging. Instead, we use targeted thermal heating to achieve the desired effects.
In addition to thermal heating, Venus device also utilizes sonic vibration and red and light therapy. I have also velve pro which reaches 104f and has vibration. I have been considering the venus or tripollar eye but that device Is rf for the eye, thanks for this review. I wonder if evenskyn is affiliated with nanoskin which has a device just like theirs. Venus looks very soothing.

What about for sunken eyes, hollows? Think it would work?
Hello! This will not help sunken eyes. It will help the dark circles so they don't seem to look so sunken in. Sunken hollows are tricky because it is fat pad loss. No at-home device can help regenerate fat tissue. Adipeau, a cream, may help. But it will take time and you need to use it morning and evening daily and leave it on for like 10 minutes each time. Some have had great results. Mixed reviews. I hope this helps! 🙏♥️

I have this but to be honest I have not been consistent with it. I use all of my other devices but this just didn't seem to do much for me especially in terms of depuffing but maybe I need to give it another chance and use it more frequently. I really want to love it and I will definitely take before and afters this time.
Hi Dana! Yes, this is a device that you will see results later...about 6-8 weeks. 3 months better results and over time even better. For depuffing, I found doing it in the morning with caffeine solution over a couple of weeks does help. Not an instant fix, like an eye mask. The star player in this is that College mode (RF) which is super cool. Also if you have a microcurrent device, I suggest pairing it with that for an even more effective treatment. Yes! Take before and after photos with this device! Keep me posted! ♥️🙏

Hello! It is not an RF device. It is a thermal heating device. Technology is similar but not RF waves. I hope that helps.
