I can't tell you how surreal it is seeing all the different abilities interacting and being used at once.
Being a lifelong Destiny veteran and growing to accept the stagnate reality of the powers. And me myself, personally writing about stuff like this. And actually being able to see it in the actual game is so unreal

I am so excited to see other folks reaction to this and it makes me excited for the Final Shape. I also chuckled like a maniac when you were like: "They better not hit me with the: 'But wait! There's more!'", and then exactly that proceeded to happen.
I can't wait to try Prismatic out for myself and have Noctis just start flinging stuff left, right and center. This also drives home the Lore even more that light and dark are just two sides of the same coin and I am so excited for this. I'm also chuckling at your expressions during the video and the pure amazement in your voice.
Can't wait to see what the future holds.

I had fallen out of this game around the time of forsaken mainly because I had to sell my console and didn't have money to get another one quick enough. But when I wanted to start trying to come back, just the way everyone was talking about it and hearing about them locking away content where even if you buy it now you can't play it Just turn me away from it. But now the final shape is actually making me want to come back
I certainly understand that. I’m glad The Final Shape has you hopeful. I find looking at it fron the stance of, appreciating what I still have and what new stuff I will also be getting, its easier to stomach the past content being gone.
I just think Bungie’s gotta find a way in game for people to reference back that stuff as it still gets referenced in story beats these days but players no longer have access to it for context.
I would never let anyone cock block me from playing video games bruh...play for yourself and if you don't like it, then don't play!
But I've loved Destiny since day one Destiny 1...took a little brief break but I've been back and enjoying every moment and this Final Shape, shit is what we've been building towards...im so ready!

wtf!!!! Yoooo this game officially broken😮. But like what’s good with the third darkness subclass. Like I am not feeling the imbalance of light and dark. I hope prismatic is disabled in PVP cuz like wtf. Lmao
Is definitely a new subclass, but it’s in its own tier. like you have three light two dark and one of its own thing I just want a third darkness class and then you weave six different classes into that one prismatic class that would be so fire.
XD! Yeah I wanted a 3rd Darkness subclass too and who knows, we may get it one day in the future. But I am very excited about Prismatic and what it brings to the core game overall. Crucible will be wild but it always has been as that’s the nature of Destiny. Changing that means its no longer what makes it special.

I just want a Destiny 3. I want EVERYONE to just move away from D2 and all its 7 years of drama and just start fresh with new ideas and synergy.
Luke's appearance at the start of that vid gave me pause. As original D2 director and given the state of how D2 vanilla launched, the poor decisions done at the time...I dunno, just gives off bad vibes ngl.
I can definitely understand where you’re coming from in that regard. I think we just have to wait and see.
The ideas coming with the Final Shape are still new and exciting for potential builds etc… I like that they took this time to really innovate instead of just following the same pattern. I think they know players are exhausted of the current loop we’ve had for years.
Now of course, things could go right back to shit post TFS, but I choose to be optimistic with measured expectations as that’s always a better approach. If I go in with low expectations, I find myself better able to appreciate what we get vs. those who go in with very high expectations. That said, the things you want are also valid.

@reggielacey2235 IMO, D2 is at a state where it simply cannot continue to expand and retain its dwindling playerbase, let alone gain new players. A reset in the shape of a new game or sequel has been sorely needed for some time now.
