One of my all time favorites, and I am shocked everytime I hear this at the level of intensity generated . I always picture the chaos of the universe being created for some reason when hearing this. Truly spiritual!
Jeff eres un jefe! Me encanta tu canal, mucho amor desde España! Sigue con el canal, estaría guay una review de Tete Montoliu con Dexter Gordon❤ Amor desde aquí
Great video I'm glad you pointed out how they don't exactly come back in time together, I've always noticed it but I actually love it because to me it shows that these freaks of nature are still human hahahaha one of my absolute favourite recordings ever thanks for the video
Also I'd like to ask if you think it is ok to learn McCoy's solo at 50% speed since I'm a beginner/intermediate pianist or should I wait to get better and tackle something I don't have to slow down? Thanks
First off, FOR SURE use the technology that you need to. One day maybe you'll be hearing that fast, but don't stress yourself to be at that level for the time being. I'm so happy that you are enjoying these videos. Please subscribe if you haven't yet. There is MUCH more good stuff coming. And hey, if you haven't already, please jump in to a Free 30 Day Limited access to JazzWire. I would love to work together with you in a more meaningful (and not too expensive) way. With the Free 30 Day Trial, you’ll see what we're doing behind the wall! You'll be inside in about 20 seconds, no credit card required. www.jazzwire.net/free-trial/. These videos are great, but they are a SHADOW compared to the real work and we can do together!

Thanks for the lovely note! I'm going to be doing some Dexter Gordon this Friday (!), but no Tete on this one. Sorry, but soon!!
Incredible energy! McCoy & Elvin: the core of Coltrane's famous quartet! Elvin Jones played as if he had 4 hands, 4 feet and 3 brains! Awesome ending!
I know! I wish I could hear the rest of that ending!
Thanks for that
Great video
