Hi, Thank you for this nice video from you I traveled one time with this A-train. It’s included on JR Pass. A really great experience, I bought a salt local ice cream on bord, really tasty, It seems than in Kuyshu they have a lot senics/touristics trains. Kyushu is for me a hidden jewel that deserve to be known.
Glad to know the JR pass us valid for this train. Since I dont have the pass, I'm sometimes unsure which special trains are covered under the pass. You're right about Kyushu - great place!

I did not know the A-Train (I had read about the SL Hitoyoshi), it is very nice, calm and pleasant. I really appreciate being able to see all these videos, Andrew. There are many types of products for sale. They are very proud of the trains, and local mascot hehe. I have yet to ride on any stream locomotive (SL) in Japan...maybe next year 🤔. Many thanks as always Ariel. I always enjoy your kind comments!
