I LOVE DESOLATE GUITARS (the sounds are incredible) but I'm having issues with it lagging, or stopping ableton Live sessions. Also slow to load and save any songs that I use it on. I use Ableton Live to LIVE LOOP and can't risk it shutting down my show. I have a brand new tricked out 96GB memory Apple M3 Max Macbook Pro that can handle anything. I only use it for Ableton with no other programs on it or running. Any suggestions?
Yeah, there needs to be a version 2 that takes this to the next level by including patterns…that can be MIDI edited. See Electric Mint for what I mean.
It’s the fact that those are real performances and not MIDI that makes those NI Session Guitarist libraries so realistic, but I agree it would be cool to have that kind of library with real recorded amps like what e-Instruments has done here.
Requests: DI sounds; basic arpeggiation/sequencing/gating, extended (7ths), inversions, and keyboard splits for slash chords. Great job for what it is though!!!
Any examples of actual guitar riffs? Bust out "Black Dog" or "Thunderstruck" or the like......... The video is more or less using this as a keyboard instrument for pads and stuff...🤔
Yeah, it’s just not that kind of library. It’s great for extra guitar touches, ambience, custom pads, etc. But I’m sure if you dial it in right you can make a playable patch!

I don't think this library can do that. It definitely does ambience well though
It's not a library designed to play riffs, there's already plenty of stuff for that out there
Maybe it will works better with third party amps like Neural DSP.
I don’t think an amp sim would sound better than the real amps they recorded. In any case, that wouldn’t work because they didn’t record a DI signal.

I agree. Bit pricey considering it only comes with one reverb type. When compared against NI guitar instruments it's in fact very expensive.
