I upgraded my 700 Soundbar to the 900 Soundbar. I also took the Acoustimass 300 Subwoofer and Virtually Invisible Surround Speakers from my Bose 300 Soundbar in another room and connected them to my 900. It works and sounds awesome!! Also, Dolby Atmos sounds incredible.
Great review! Please mention the Bose PhaseGuide and TrueSpace technologies in the SB900. PhaseGuide transducers on each end project sound far left and right. TrueSpace processing adds simulated height channels to 2.0 and 5.1 audio.

Awesome video! Very informative! Just a question, how many blu-tooth headphones can you play simultaneously through the sound bar? Is it just 1 headphone set or can you pair 2-3 Bose QC 45 simultaneously for quiet late night movie viewing at night?
I just purchased the Bose 900 with the sub 700 I can tell you this it’s incredible! The problem I have with Sonos as a company is the hardware is tied to the software meaning that if Sonos decides they want you to update your hardware they stop updating the software and you’re left with a useless product.
When I bought my Bose 300, my wife listened to the demo system at Best Buy, both with the subwoofer and without, and she approved of the subwoofer purchase. I was in charge of buying, but it's nice to have the wife's support 🙂

Do you feel the Dolby atmos effects on the 900 ?
@@d.3671 I hear the Dolby Atmos and with the Base Module there is weight to it. Depending what the Atmos affect is I would say yes you feel it.

I want the 300 so bad haha good reviews, do modems really interfere much or is that a myth?
I've never heard of modems interfering.
I just got the Sennheiser x Massdrop PC38X. Very excited for playing PS4 with a mic audio channel (damn Sony for making my Bose 700 incompatible).

This soundbar doesn't support DTS, can the soundbar still decode dts 5.1 sound from bluray disc? So voice can out from center speaker.
DTS signal is decodec into DD5.1 with all channels intact, dynamic range will be different but you'll get full surround as intended.

Yes optical cable works fine. This soundbar isnt going to be a true 5.1 without extra speakers
I think you are way better off with the JBL 9.1 soundbar. It is 200 dollars more and it has the same size bar and a 500 watt 10 inch subwoofer.
I dont want to worry about having to charge the aurrounds all the time. Otherwise i would get that

Sonos also requires you to use your phone as your remote.
my tv has one arc input and i use it for my ps5 am i in trouble i just ordered the 900

Jbl 9.1 , has a 10 inch woofer , and detachable speakers that you can place around to immerse yourself more :))
The 900 is much more expensive, but way more sophisticated in its execution. The JBL Bar 9.1 is a nice option, but not the better soundbar overall.
