Facebook hackers enabled 2FA - What do I do?

- In this video I discuss my recent hacking of my facebook account, the process of account recovery on Facebook and what to do if your hacker enables 2FA on your account.
Unfortunately as you'll see in this video Facebook has no real protection for you to recover your account if the hacker enables 2FA. I tried to delete my account but to do that I need to log in and I can't log in since I need the 2FA code which goes to my hacker. Facebooks also has no customer support so at this point there is nothing I can do. A very frustrating catch-22 facebook has put me in. Now my facebook account is lost to some hacker very likely forever, which is very upsetting because I've had facebook since 2007 which is about half my life.
EDIT: I am happy so many people have come to this video and share their similar experience while also feeling sorry you had to go thru this. I have not recovered my account or received any updates from facebook. I am sad to lose these photos, memories and connections but have given up completely on further attempts to recover my account.
Also anyone claiming to recover your account for money is scamming you.

This same scenario happened to me just over a week ago. I email them my ID every single day, but I am caught in this continuous hell loop. I hate to loose my 10+ year account, mostly because I have lots of picture and videos of my mom on there. She just passed away in April, and honestly I live for those FB "memories" about her. I am pissed off and frustrated with the hacker , but even more so with Facebook. WTH kinda business doesn't have a customer service phone number?
Well you can sign a petition for them to have a support

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I'm completely devastated as 11 years of memories are just gone forever. Even the ones my original profile shared with my late mother's profile. I'll never get those back ... Ever. I officially hate Facebook now.
This happened to me also but I was able to figure it out. I used my friends email to get the code for the PW and then submitted my id using another email besides mine. The hacker is able to get the info FB sends to your email so he changes it and then it doesn't work. Use a friends email when you're signing into your account.

Ditto! Pissed as you know what that at 2 AM there was an email about changes to my account!! I was sleeping!! Too bad! Hacker added 2 FA and put a +63 in front of my phone number, Philippines code, but the IP of hacker said New Jersey. I did upload my ID, actually got an email stating 'Subject: thanks for submitting ID, but submit proper information.' WTH? Ok, so 20 years ago I started FB living in Crapifornia and moved to another state year ago - did not even think about going into FB to change any of this info!!! Is this why my account was not verified and returned back to me?? FB has not ever responded again to any of my subsequent emails - even the one that I sent in the ID with Crapifornia info on!!!! Does anyone even really read emails?? FB has NUMEROUS employees..... what the hell do they all do if they don't do customer service??? Are they all simply "fact checkers" or word police?????
Plus, when FB emails the required 6 digit code to enter - it is 8 digits and won't work!!! Come on, maaaan!!

I have had the same thing happen to me 5 weeks ago. I am so scared because I am a single mum and now the hacker has full parental access to my child's kids' messenger account. The hacker now can also talk with my child or worse still sell my account with my daughter kids messenger access on the dark web. All my photos of my child from the day she was born are also on there and are at risk of being put in the hands of child sex offenders and predators.
I haven't even been able to upload a picture of my ID. You have gotten further than I have. So many years of memories lost and a business page that I built over years that had over 600 followers.
I feel your pain... same happened here and they are now charging my cc for paypal "business" fees!

Me too. Exact same thing. I filed a report with the FBI and my states attorney general because not only did I lose my account, I had $500 charged to 2 of my accounts 3 days after notifying Facebook of the hack.
this is what I am worried about, only 25.00 for a facebook "business fee" that I NEVER HAD BEEN CHARGED BEFORE THIS HACK HAPPENED.... the loss of clients and pictures is also devistating, but don't F* w my $ .... this is the worst!
I think it just happened to me too! I don't remember turning on 2FA and I got a message my password was changed from someone located in California. Been hassling with this for a couple of hours now but can't get logged in. Glad I found your video to explain what probably happened. Sounds like I won't be able to recover it. Sucks. Been a member for over 5 years.

Class action lawsuit? Seems to be impacting a lot of people. Wife just lost her account yesterday. Now she's come to this same dead end.
Just to follow up, she was eventually able to regain control of her account. Took several days and an extraordinary level of effort, but it is doable. I can see why a lot of people just give up.

@@tomcollins8335 After numerous attempts of sending in the copy of photo ID and going back and forth with the hacker with the phone number being changed (they both had at least limited access to the account simultaneously for a while and went back and forth for hours changing the phone number), eventually wife got an email from someone in customer service at FB who seemed to be a real person and not robo email who asked more detailed questions and performed those final steps of removing hackers info and access from the account. So, it is possible, just seems FB makes the process in this scenario so overly burdensome, most reasonable people give up. The wife is stubborn. Don't know if it was necessary, but she threatened to get media and consumer activist groups involved in her last email to FB.
How did your wife get a real person on Facebook to reply because I actually got an email that said I could reply to the email but after replying nobody has replied back yet. It was the security team and they said after I submitted my ID if I had any questions please reply to this email but I haven't gotten a response yet
is there an email address on Facebook that you can reply to? The one I got from the security team says it's a no reply email but it also said please reply to this email with any further questions. is there another email that your wife may have that actually reaches a real person?
This is ridiculous. Same thing happened to me and hundred of other people. I've submitted my ID multiple times, sent them emails to the security team, and nothing!! On a limbo and the hacker keeps resetting the password and getting away with it... pisses me off
Are you able to share the email you used to send your ID? Or did you use the form's automatic submission? If so, that doesn't work for me. I go through the process of entering the different fields, upload the photo and when I press SUBMIT/SEND, it says there was an error processing my request and to please try again later.
Change your email that’s what I did
Woah! Did not realise this was such a common issue. Happened to us a few months back, have sent ID to Fb 20+ times, but just can’t get past the 2FA, so frustrating & time consuming! 15 year old account with multiple business pages attached & sensitive / private info in messenger. Reported it to fraud / cybercrime police too, but nothing they could do either. So fucked! Sorry to hear it’s happened to all of you guys! : (

Same thing happened to me yesterday. The exact thing happened. Its so frustrating and so sad that i've lost many years of memories pictures and saved video clips that I like and rewatch. I am so pissed that I felt like I want to curse that hacker. :(
This happened to me too---it's devastating to lose over a dozen years of photos/memories/etc. I'm stuck and can't recover bc hacker enabled 2FA. FB is HORRIBLE.

This exact thing just happened to me. Unbelievable that there is no way to fix this. Ive had this account since 2003 and now its all gone!
Why cannot we find a lawyer who is willing to bring Facebook to court for hundreds or maybe thousands of the same stories, except every story has a different pain point! It didn’t just take away many memories and thousands of hours of created content, it affected my business as I cannot access any of my business pages that I used to advertise from for my business! This means DAMAGES not because of my personal life but for affected my bottom line and Facebook should be LIABLE FOR ALL OF IT!
I have blocked comments until approval because I have gotten hundreds of spam comments like "I can't stop recommending the good work of SPY_CRAKK on IG, he's indeed a genius" please do not give money to anyone claiming to know some one who can recover your account for money or your password they are 100% scammers. Otherwise enjoy the video and feel free to comment on your experience to help out others. Unfortunately it seems impossible to recover your account, but you still can and should change your password to a new and strong one.
Update: 4/2023: I have offically given up all hope of recovering my facebook account and have deleted my whatsapp and instagram in protest of Mark Zuckerberg and his lack of care for his clients personal data and security. facebook/meta seems like a mess and I cant wait to see it go the way of myspace.

Having this issue for 3 months and I am finally sending my ID now to finally gain access. Fortunately I got an email saying they accepted and giving me the link to unlock my account. Unfortunately, when I log in, it says that my account is locked, so FB told me the steps which is to send my ID. AGAIN. I did that and I receive and email and they accepted it. Try logging it again and says it is still locked. So basically I am stuck in a goshdang loop and I don’t know what should I be doing. This makes me want to quit Facebook and move on to another platform like reddit.
So I’m in the same issue but I’ve read that when you get the email all you need to do is use the password that is given in the email

I bought a new phone and this happened to me. My account hasn't been hacked, but I can't get and codes sent to my phone. Very annoying.

I recovered my Facebook's acc..Its take me a week. Just use the methods from the video and log in using the temporary password from the email Facebook send. I try this several times,and its worked.

This same bs happened to my Instagram account. Not a big deal for me but I learned quickly to enable 2FA on all my accounts. It's a hassle to use but way better having to recover from a hacker. FB could care less.

Not only did this happen to my elderly father in law, but the account we set up as a replacement, Facebook immediately locked. Bunch of criminals.
I just got hacked and never downloaded or clicked any links!!! Everytime I change the password they change it before I can login within seconds!! How do I get my account back. It has pictures of loved ones who passed.

you should change the password ASAP make it a new and strong one. You can still change the password but you wont be able to login because the next thing you need before you login now is a 2FA code will be the and it will only be sent to the hacker.
@@ThatVidResponseGuy How can you change the password on an account you can't even get into??? If I could get into my account, I would have done the same but that is impossible if you can't get into your account. Hence, the endless loop of madness on Facebook.

And in the same boat and I have a small business I've been starting a lot of the places I sold my products and Facebook groups have to have Facebook profiles that are at least one year old to be able to join and basically as a single mom of a 3-year-old it's broken my heart completely losing my business contacts and everything else permanently. Pictures of my daughter being born and her entire life

That is the same thing I am going through. The hacker removed me as the admin for the business page. So now, although the page is still up I don't control it nor can I receive the messages from clients. I am concerned there could also be inappropriate activity on that page hurting my business' reputation. I am also concerned of financial fraud as I have purchased some FB ads in the past. Although, I changed my credit card right away.

What does Code Generator or 3rd party app even mean? When it's asking for the code....I feel like my grandparents must have with new tech. It's confusing me 😆

Since Facebook has a legal standpoint that they protect oprotect our copyrighted information and by not enabling us a wage proof and I say way to prove and then override what the actors have done by it the proof that we give them are they not you know it not honoring that? Should we not all be able to Sue them for copyright infringement or at the very least for not protecting our privacy as they say that they do ? Just curious with what the legal standpoint is on this because we've got to be able to get their attention somehow I'm going through the same problem same problem they're telling me to log in and go to the 3 little dots little hamburger dots to get my code, But guess what the whole point in meeting the code is because I can't log in so how am I supposed to get the code when I have to log in to get it this doesn't make any sense.
I had the same problem two months ago, bro, and nothing worked. I believe Facebook lost our data somehow, and they are unable to provide an accurate explanation. I contacted live support through my Instagram account, which was linked to my Facebook account, and they asked me to record my screen and explain everything to them after seeing the video. After I made all the necessary clarifications, the live support agent spoke with me for a full twenty-four minutes, during which she told me to follow the link and upload my ID. I thought this was the correct method to retrieve your account, but I assumed she was an AI or a dumb girl.
So what happens to your account? I just stays deactivated?
no one i've asked has been able to find my account by searching, pretty sure it still exists as I'm still getting email notifications about my profile.

Just had this happen to me and I am crushed. I'm so done with Facebook at this point. Everyone I want to talk to has my number but this so gut wrenching because of the personal stuff I have on there and photos and memories of my son

I’m currently going around in circles with this processes. It’s driving me nuts! I can’t get past 2FA. So I’m just flooding the process all day everyday. If I do get back in… I’m very ready to just get rid of Facebook completely.
Dude listen , i was in same phase with you but recovered my account back just today 😶😶. Do the same thing and they will give a code,then instead of loggin in the usual way, use that capcha they sent in email in the place of password i.e email and password asked means you give email and that capcha . Then they will send an option to turn two factor on-off and it will be turned off. Even if two factor is there you still have access to your email right hehe it worked try tht

My problem is, my two factor authentication is in my mobile, but my facebook account is mistakenly logged out from every device i use for facebook. Now I cant get my code to log in to facebook. I ask code in my mobile phone they limit the time of asking code in text message.
10 months later and i still can’t get in i wish they could fix it , i got so many photos and messages with people that have passed away in there i can’t ever get back💔
The same thing has happened to me and the hackers have taken full control and are charging my credit cards. Facebook has done nothing. My account was hacked almost a year ago and I’m still getting charges added to this day. My family and friends are getting solicitation today from the hackers. I was running ads for my business and was stupid to put my accounts to pay on their platform

Wow, reading some of these comments, I truly am lucky! This video helped me recover my account. Whoever hacked my account set up two factor authentication. I sent in my ID and in literally about 10 minutes they emailed me and said my account was recovered but they locked my account, so they took me through steps to verify my identity and remove the new email that was added to mine and I got my account back!! According to these comments I must be one of the lucky ones. My account was hacked this morning, and I got it back within an hour.

I actually managed to get back in to my account but was lucky enough to have the hacker not touch my name. Once the hacker touches your name you are done for.

This just happened to me. I've had the same Facebook for 15+ years. I am so pissed at the whole process. They added 2FA on my account and now its gone. Worst company ever. Good riddance.

When you go to send your ID in use a different email or phone number that has never been associated with the hacked account. The hacker has control of the old email or phone number. This was what happened to me also and I finally got mine back by changing the email and phone number and having the code sent to the new one.
