I'm glad I came across your video! I saw the headstick/tailstock alignment tool for sale on the NOVA website, for $35, and thought it came with the lathe, but it's never mentioned in the list of supplied accessories. Good to know.
I've had my Nova Saturn DVR lathe for over 10 years now and has been used almost every day. The Saturn is the short bed version of the Galaxy. All of my bowls start out as logs so there is a lot of bumpy out of balance turning, My lathe is still as whisper quiet and as smooth as the day i got it and not a single malfunction or even a hiccup. I'm sold on Nova lathes.
I reached out to teknatool and they indicated 47” floor to spindle center. I’m very interested in the nebula but the floor to spindle height has me worried since the old jet I’m using is 40 1/4” floor to,spindle, that’s quite a large difference. I’m hoping to find one on display somewhere to see it for myself but thus far I haven’t found anyone with one of these on their floor. Saw another video where the gent was talking about building a platform to stand on… not sure I like that idea as it seems like an accident waiting to happen. Would welcome comments about the floor to spindle height and what it’s like to use the nebula in that respect, from anyone who has one.

A fantastic lathe from a top-notch supplier. I'm really pleased with my Nova Galaxi that I bought from them a couple of years ago.
Very nice lathe and well done video.
Looks great
Ooh tempting very tempting
Very nice. What is the quill extension limit on the tail stock?
What is the measurement from floor to spindle?

Very useful video - thanks!
BUT please turn the music off next time. It adds nothing and is VERY annoying. 🙂
What's the price of it?
I believe it's £2950.
Your competitors, they have good positions in same Niche and earn money from TH-cam. You can also earn from YT.
Handwheel not suitable for a vacuum chuck adapter , thats a retrograde step in design.
That would be a deal breaker for me. Any more information you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.
tHIS WOULD BE MY LAST CHOICE IN BUYING A WOOD LATHE WAY UNDERPOWERED AND A COMPLEX DRIVE SYSTEM
