I love that Brett is genuine. A commissioner could be someone who spouts generic feel-good bluster in response to each question; Brett doesn't do that. He takes his time and gives information that is as valuable as he is permitted to give. The Big 12 is seriously getting their money's worth out of him.

Commissioner Yormark, you do realize that BYU has 1.1 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico and another 3 million in South America. The religious sponsor in the Baptist Convention of Baylor University has 120,000 members in Mexico. I would recommend leading with the school members that have a religious sponsorship to our international efforts. We are happy to share our fanbases in support of the future of the Big 12 and in the maintenance of unity.

I have to admit, I've been jealous for more than 10 years that Utah got the invitation to join the PAC . . . that jealousy popped like a balloon when the Big12 announced BYU as a new member.

UConn was a sleeping giant in basketball and no one expected it and now football next to NYC. JIM Mora is the next JIM Calhoon. UConn was a start up in the old Big East and went on to win it in football. They beat a lot of power programs including Notre Dame in South Bend.
