It'd be extremely tough being the third drummer of a band. He probably went back, listened to all the tracks and tried to incorporate his own twist while sticking to the music that is Trivium. With that being said, it probably sounds a bit more like Travis because this was originally written for Shogun, even if the drums weren't written beforehand.

I don't think I've broken a single stick with this kit but I got bags full of broken sticks next to my acoustic kit :)
