For everyone watching this video. Just use edge on default stick settings (linear). In game change your response curve to dynamic. It is the best and what majority of good and pro players use. Sensitivity between 6 and 8. If you use sensitivity closer to 8 you may want to turn down ads setting to 0.75 with closer scopes. Otherwise use 1.0 in ads settings multipliers.
I play with default stick linear on edge... and 7 sensitivity with 0.8 ads and dynamic curve. But I always wondered if HDR slows down the game or not.... and I finally have the answer 😁

Thanks a bunch! Standard with Linear (Default in Edge) and Linear with Presice on Edge feels much better to me recently as the first part isn't faster, unlike Dynamic which causes inaccurate Recoil control and less AA! I'll be doing more tests and research regarding this for next video!
I’m currently using this controller on PC, you need time to let your brain get used to the back triggers at first, but once you got that, you become another player, now I can’t go back to a normal controller.

Hi, dead zone on 0 if the drift isn't much. Left Stick Quick -3 up to Quick +3 (Both give you a 30-40% Slower walk at the start) In-Game AA = Default (Strongest Currently) Right Stick Curve Precise (-4 to 0) with Linear or Default/Precise -5 with Standard They both give better control over start and not losing AA, unlike Dynamic, of course, I'll make an in-depth video for Curves which could be better but currently, I found Standard and Linear a better option to be steady compared to Dynamic.
I have been following your channel ever since I've got my Dualsense Edge Controller and the information you provide is very much appreciated. For someone like me who's played competitive shooters on PC for about 20 years, I find that Linear + Precision aim assist in Call of Duty to be the best for me because it replicates the mouse as close as possible. As for the Edge Controller, left stick is on Precise -4 and the right stick is on Default (still need to play with this one).

I tried the settings with the deadzone at zero but in the game when I opened the map I couldn't click on any contracts or ping anything bc it wouldn't stay still. Maybe I need to fine tune it but feels like my aim was better before. Still some good stuff. One of your other videos helped me with my in game settings so appreciate that

I finally found a video, I got the dual sense edge when it first came out and I felt like I was doing way worse losing every gunfight I thought I was just losing skill lol I even sent it for repair and they sent me a new one
Great content I love your vids keep up te good work. I own the duelsense edge but honestly I can’t get used to it. I’m used to a battle beaver controller and with the edge I feel like overshooting all the time, like i’m on ice skates. With my bb and duelsense I don’t have issues with overshooting. I think its a software problem.

Funny enough, I love the default feel of PS5. I find the Xbox controls way too floaty and elastic. Almost like it has acceleration or something. Drives me nuts

It got more real so it's a bit more random nowadays, M&K is good as long as you're used to it, I played with a controller my whole life so it's hard to switch suddenly!
My dual sense edge came with drift from the box, so disappointed with the controller. The paddles made me not send it immediately back, although in warzone I’ve noticed there is a significant delay when using the prone paddle.

Hi, any curve that has a slower speed than 50% for the first 40-50% of the graph works fine (to have the option to move slower and increase AA) but curves like Digital aren't recommended unless you want a keyboard-like movement. and yes the Quick -3 works well!
@@suleyman2052 Half of that delay, 8ms. I will do a re-test in the future, those are for MW2 but I'm pretty sure MW3 also uses the similar engine and works the same.
Hi! +5 and -3 both give you slower speed at start and faster from half, as some people don't control it consistently -3 could be better to keep aim assist stronger and less shift due to movement, still, both of them are good I just don't recommend Digital anymore, the rest are mostly ok as long as you have both low and high speed
Hi, 0-2 for Both L2 and R2, for curve, with Standard, I use default, with Dynamic 0.85 I use precise -4. for sens I use 6-6 with ADS on 0.60 (for longer ranges) and up to 0.80 for mid - close ranges. but that's just what I use!
I bought dualsense edge and doesn't feel as good as the dual sense playing mw3. I lost my money buying a €200€ controller. Dual sense extreme rate paddles I feel it much better than the edge.
Thanks! You can use Type-C to USB-A and get the same results if you connect it to the back ports (Blue ones) The Black Type-A Front port is almost fine! 1-3ms higher delay in 120FPS and about 8-12ms on 60FPS mode.

I currently recommend Linear with a Precise curve or Standard with a Default curve, they work very well, as for Dynamic, try a slope scale under 0.50 and lower, and see how it works, because typically it gets faster at the start = losing Aim Assist faster on lower pushes = harder to keep on target in distance.

How about gyro? 😃 I get near mouse performance. Planning to get an Edge soon for the paddles, and will 100% play with gyro aiming. Give it a try. The settings in MW3 are technical. Would really love to get your opinion on a best setup for that.

Hi, with Standard, I use default, with Dynamic 0.85 I use precise -4. left stick is a personal choice, if you play very long range or long ranges, then default or Quick, if you play mid to close ranges, Digital +5.
And be careful. There is a parameter which is not very visible in the game and which the video does not talk about: Under the sensitivity of the joysticks in the game there is a hidden parameter which by default is incorrectly set.... it is the sensitivity multiplier which is often set to 1.20 which must be set to 1.00 for the right and left joystick by going to customize and returning to the desired sensitivity 😉

Why do people prefer 4 back buttons just wondering because the main use when I had 2 back buttons was jumping and sliding what would the other 2 be used for ?

@@jayhunnel4375reloading may not be that useful bind but opening loot boxes and picking up guns is so useful. You literally save yourself when dropping to a match in battle royales because you can pick up weapons faster. Also door opening battles in apex legends makes binding square a must. I actually bind jump and reload/open/action button always. Sliding is always bind to R3 (for atleast 20 years). I played with 4 paddle controllers for years and it is so much better. You literally never have to move your thumb from right stick (aiming) if you bind X, O, square and triangle. It was so hard to go back to 2 paddle edge. I switched because of bad quality control of Scuf Impact/reflex + swappable thumb stick module of the edge controller. Binding tactical stance is useless because you can press down arrow without moving your thumb from left stick.
Dynamic will be easier to lose AA on the first part, especially for longer ranges, you can try Dynamic with less slop scale or give Standard a try with adjusted sensitivity! as Dynamic has faster movement at the start it's harder to control recoil for 30% of the push if you have a high sene.
I can't be sure yet, I'm in the middle, if you play aggressively you'd need a more consistent curve to get used to which in my opinion is Standard with default or Linear with Precise, they can both help to achieve a steady aim.

i m a bit late to the party but your channel is very nice. I bought the Edge few days ago. I plugged in and played my game (RDO). My aim (right stick) seems messed up. I switched to my normal Dualsense and my aim was back... Huh? I did nothing changed on the Edge (all on default). What can I do that my edge is like my normal dual sense? or am I just imagining it all? I almost don't think so. @DanielZH bro , I have a question about cronus Zen. I had a cod tournament last week, and one of the teams was playing in PCs, and we r pretty sure that they were using it. Is there a program or something to detect it at future tournaments or something?
@@maverickgg5620 I'm not sure about that, but I know at tournaments they don't allow users equipment and everyone should play on their PC/console, so this shouldn't happen

i switched back to mnk in mw3 , mw2 was a controller game with that aim assist hype back then but not anymore
It got more real so it's a bit more random nowadays, M&K is good as long as you're used to it, I played with a controller my whole life so it's hard to switch suddenly!
My dual sense edge came with drift from the box, so disappointed with the controller. The paddles made me not send it immediately back, although in warzone I’ve noticed there is a significant delay when using the prone paddle.
I'll test the paddles delay in the warzone, btw if you have stick drift, send it back if it has a warranty.

Hi, any curve that has a slower speed than 50% for the first 40-50% of the graph works fine (to have the option to move slower and increase AA) but curves like Digital aren't recommended unless you want a keyboard-like movement. and yes the Quick -3 works well!

The tests show a delay of up to 16-24ms in 60Hz

Hi! +5 and -3 both give you slower speed at start and faster from half, as some people don't control it consistently -3 could be better to keep aim assist stronger and less shift due to movement, still, both of them are good I just don't recommend Digital anymore, the rest are mostly ok as long as you have both low and high speed

Hi, 0-2 for Both L2 and R2, for curve, with Standard, I use default, with Dynamic 0.85 I use precise -4. for sens I use 6-6 with ADS on 0.60 (for longer ranges) and up to 0.80 for mid - close ranges. but that's just what I use!

Thanks! You can use Type-C to USB-A and get the same results if you connect it to the back ports (Blue ones)
The Black Type-A Front port is almost fine! 1-3ms higher delay in 120FPS and about 8-12ms on 60FPS mode.

I need for my left stick and right stick and what would you recommend on curve adjustment, and deadzone adjustment? I want to move fast at the game but also have good aiming

I currently recommend Linear with a Precise curve or Standard with a Default curve, they work very well, as for Dynamic, try a slope scale under 0.50 and lower, and see how it works, because typically it gets faster at the start = losing Aim Assist faster on lower pushes = harder to keep on target in distance.

@@dorukakbulut9081 I haven't tested the slop scale in depth to see how it affects each curve and didn't find anything online yet, I'll test it for the next video, Currently, I'm using standard and default curves on edge for the right stick, they match very well with 6-6 sens for me.
@@DanielZH I tested like 3 days and here is my conclusion Linear with precision curve -5 and adjust in the game scale to 0.00 to get real linear curve like in apex or other games. I got the best movement and aim combined from these settings. Thank you a lot.

We shouldnt have to do this. Im 110% sure it is bugged. I lose 95% 1vs1 even when i get first shots in. Was never like this on mw2
The realism increased in MW3 and makes things even more random than MW2.
How about gyro? 😃 I get near mouse performance. Planning to get an Edge soon for the paddles, and will 100% play with gyro aiming. Give it a try. The settings in MW3 are technical. Would really love to get your opinion on a best setup for that.

And be careful. There is a parameter which is not very visible in the game and which the video does not talk about: Under the sensitivity of the joysticks in the game there is a hidden parameter which by default is incorrectly set.... it is the sensitivity multiplier which is often set to 1.20 which must be set to 1.00 for the right and left joystick by going to customize and returning to the desired sensitivity 😉

@@jayhunnel4375reloading may not be that useful bind but opening loot boxes and picking up guns is so useful. You literally save yourself when dropping to a match in battle royales because you can pick up weapons faster. Also door opening battles in apex legends makes binding square a must. I actually bind jump and reload/open/action button always. Sliding is always bind to R3 (for atleast 20 years).
I played with 4 paddle controllers for years and it is so much better. You literally never have to move your thumb from right stick (aiming) if you bind X, O, square and triangle. It was so hard to go back to 2 paddle edge. I switched because of bad quality control of Scuf Impact/reflex + swappable thumb stick module of the edge controller.
Binding tactical stance is useless because you can press down arrow without moving your thumb from left stick.
So you suggest deadzone right stick: precision-4 and ingame aimassist: Default and ingame curve: dynamic ?
Dynamic will be easier to lose AA on the first part, especially for longer ranges, you can try Dynamic with less slop scale or give Standard a try with adjusted sensitivity! as Dynamic has faster movement at the start it's harder to control recoil for 30% of the push if you have a high sene.

That amount is very low and not noticeable, under 4ms is usually not noticeable at all, and 8ms is only noticeable to some people
Is your playstyle aggressive or passive? Would you say the settings you have recommended is fine for aggressive style?
I can't be sure yet, I'm in the middle, if you play aggressively you'd need a more consistent curve to get used to which in my opinion is Standard with default or Linear with Precise, they can both help to achieve a steady aim.
When you are using “precise” on controller, do you have the game set to “linear”?
You can if you want, a real linear curve needs to have a slope scale of 0. otherwise it's exponential.

i m a bit late to the party but your channel is very nice. I bought the Edge few days ago. I plugged in and played my game (RDO). My aim (right stick) seems messed up. I switched to my normal Dualsense and my aim was back... Huh? I did nothing changed on the Edge (all on default). What can I do that my edge is like my normal dual sense? or am I just imagining it all? I almost don't think so. I'm almost desperate. hope you or someone can help me .. thx for your time and a good 2024 !
