These look awesome, one great thing about these characters is that they're always dirty and grimey looking when that translates well to figures it looks amaizing.
Hot Toys produces a lot of figures (not nearly as many as they tease, but still a lot) and their quality is high (much higher with the introduction of InArt). But InArt is the one driving quality upwards; they may not always hit the mark, but they are the ones pushing the envelope and forcing other companies (like HT) to improve and that is nothing but great news for collectors.
I think Hot Toys have always been a quality product, but I think Inart helped Hot Toys innovate and that gave us the stellar Artisan line 🙌🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting. 🙂
I've seen QC issues with Inart all over Facebook too. Much more so than Hot Toys and I don't even follow Inart content much. But I know HT are masters of producing a quality product time and time again.
Chris Reeves is an absolute must have for me, since hot toys appears to be allergic to him for some reason. Though the one that peaked my interest was wonder woman, curious if those armor pieces are swap out ones
Yeah Hot Toys just seem to drop some IPs and then never seem to bother with them again which is a shame. Would love them to make an updated Reeves Superman. I'm still thinking I my grab a Hot Toys Wonder Woman but still interested to see how all this Inart stuff pans out 🙌🏻
It looks like Inart has used placeholder real-life photographs in some of the photos, Batfleck and WW in particular. Having said that, given Inart's exceptional releases so far, I expect these figures will continue to raise the bar. As for the Hot Toys vs Inart comparison, and who's the best. I suppose it depends on your criteria. Hot toys are clearly the market leader, the more experienced, and have a much higher output. When it comes to licenses it's down to subjective preferences. But if we're talking about quality, then Inart is the clear winner simply on the basis of Hot Toys never producing something at the level of Aragorn, Gandalf, HC Superman, JP Joker, Paul Atreides etc. I say this as someone who owns two Artisan figures, which are fantastic, but almost everything about Inart - their double shipping boxes, their artboxes, the robust packing, the rooting, paint apps, tailoring, accuracy, quality of their materials for the clothing and accessories is just a level above. They're are getting so close to perfection with the level of realism and the accuracy of their likenesses. You'll discover this for yourself when you start adding some of their pieces to your collection.
InArt blow Hot toys out of the water, and I say that as.a huge Hot Toys fan. I only own three of their figures - Aragorn, Gandalf, and Superman - but they are all glorious, and easily trump even the Hot Toys DX releases I own. Everything from the box presentation to the packaging to the manual/instructions to the accessories to the quality of the figures themselves have blown me away. IMHO they do rooted hair figures better than any other sixth-scale company out there. Personally, I think Hot Toys having serious competition is good for all of us. Some of their more recent releases have disappointed me. Not because they were in any way bad, but just somewhat…meh? I am a Star Wars collector more than anything else, so I will always love Hot Toys, but they’ve not done anything that truly ‘wowed me’ in a while (the last was maybe their DX Kenobi Vader).

Inart are going to be making Wonder Woman? Did not know that. Thank you so much for covering this. I have been trying to get a version of her for a long time. Fingers crossed TGTBaTR will be offering her. Like you, I still haven't actually got an inart figure in my collection but I do have two paid for - Superman and The Batman. Am a bit worried about The Batman figure as I had to eventually order it from Specfiction and they have recently sent out emails explaining they are having trouble due to parting ways with their supplier.

@TK421Collectibles unfortunately, INART doesn’t have Disney licenses, so they can’t do Star Wars (my favorite IP), but that’d be a dream. Thankfully, I’m into various IPs and not just Star Wars so INART will be my go-to for DC related stuff and every IP that isn’t Disney owned that only Hot Toys can do. They’re superior to Hot Toys when it comes to aesthetics and figure-design in realism, natural proportions and attention to detail.
Had Superman in hand for few weeks, superb figure, but second head sculpt would not attach to body as hole too small! Put it on black suit instead! QC issue, not good for price! Tip use hairdryer on hands, then they just pop on, enjoy!
Ive got a bit of a truth bomb for you dude. I got the in art Aragorn for Christmas and given that i own about 120 1/6 figures at this point from various companies i think I've got a fair idea for comparison. I can only speak for the Aragorn figure but here are my thoughts. PRICE: Too expensive, the base is cheap plastic, the belt is cheap plastic like material, the die-cast weapons are cheap and have no luster and polish like the ones Asmus do. They have premium features like magnets in the joints so the hands pop off which makes it feel expensive but in reality means they fall off a lot. The quality of the clothing is really good but can't justify such a high mark up. Quality: Honestly, this is so varied, - paint quality 7/10 - clothing quality 8/10 - accessories 7.5/10 - Base 5/10 - Packaging 6/10 looks expensive but feels cheap Likeness and details: Head sculpt is a vast improvement from all Asmus Aragorn figures yet still not quite there with likeness. The clothing is very inaccurate in terms of colour and materials. The outer coat is nothing like the shiny leather in the movie and Asmus actually did this better. The under waistcoat thing again, Asmus did better with colour and material and they did appropriate wear and mud splashes. Like i said the metal weapons don't look real and feel cheap and unfinished. Conclusion: - Really good head sculpt but not amazing. - Clothing has good materials, good stitching but not accurate - Weapons and accessories are lack luster - Base looks good but up close feels cheap - Packaging could easily look expensive until you look up close then it feels cheap like a box for a cheap watch that is trying to be premium. The inside of the packaging feels good quality though. All in all, if i had to make my ultimate Aragorn it would be the Asmus one with the head sculpt, pants, shoes, gauntlets and grey bottom player of the inart one. Unfortunately i feel like the people who are big inart fans are people who haven't got products from inart and other companies to compare. Furthermore, they trick everyone with sending prototypes to youtubers. Look at justins collection review of gandalf where he compares the prototype they sent him to the one he bought from inart, the one he bought is vastly inferior to the prototype they sent him.

Thanks dude, I appreciate that you take value in my feedback. I mean, they are good figures, but they are far from perfect and definitely not worth the money. They are really hit and miss too. For example, I would pick the Asmus Gandalf by far over the inart and because inart's and Asmus's are both new it's more of a fair comparison. Frankly, I find the Asmus headsculpt better and inart got the clothes all wrong, in my opinion.
I like that Inart and Jazzinc are making characters that hot toys have neglected. However, It would be interesting to see Inart do a Luke Skywalker or Han solo.
Good tactic sticking to just Star Wars tbh! I will be sticking to BvS if the Superman is amazing (oh and the Reeve Superman if they've significantly improved it) 🙌🏻
I have had terrible QC issues with Hot Toys over the past 12 years: PERS breaking, limbs which will not move, loose magnets because of weak glue, pleather disintegrating (in chilly England), missing accessories... The neck socket on my Artisan Imposter Joker snapped when I inserted the head, the brittle plastic is extremely fragile. One of the eyes on my sculpted DX33 Joker fell out..... The very same thing happened to another collector who I follow. In short, QC issues are hardly exclusive to Inart, they are a bane of the hobby.
Wow interesting to hear you say that! I've literally had zero QC issues with any of my Hot Toys figures. Actually other than the Artisan Joker missing the pencil, (but managed to get a replacement), oh and the 501st "Battlalion" nameplate 😅 But yeah other than that, issues have been non-existent. Sounds like you've had a rough time with some of your figures though! Gutted about your Artisan Imposter Joker especially, hope you was able to get it sorted mate! (just subbed to your channel btw!) 🙌🏻

If you was in the plans to do for 2024 glad to see they’re following through 2025 finishing the bvs line. I wish if they can include now standardly for all figures that have two head , particularly like a Batman if we can have a head scope stand to go with the second head

Walking Dead is fantastic mate, well the first few seasons when they (kinda) followed the comic book stories. Went a bit downhill tho. I like the thought of butter beer. Is it actual beer? And yeah 💯 love Gal 🥰😅 (hides comment from Mrs TK)... The Reeves sculpt was a year or two ago so hoping it was like a first attempt or something, cos yeah ngl personally I thought it looked terrible! But so did Hot Toys Obi-Wan, yet when that released it was a HUGE improvement to the prototype!

Yes the bulky Batman bodies do make posing a bit of challenge! That Superman pose is definitely *the* pose to have him in, like you say if it can do that then definitely buying!! 🙌🏻
Ah ok, I know ToysBuyingAgent can get Inart figures and I think they ship to US. Would be expensive though! I think that is one of the problems Inart will have If they cant do some kind of distribution deal with the likes of Sideshow.
I’ve yet to get into IA but they do make great figures, generally better than the typical HT. That said, they also cost nearly twice as much as a typical HT so I expect them to be better. That said, they also release maybe 3 figures a year, in much fewer quantities so each figure made should be near perfect. But we know they have QC problems. That needs to be addressed, as well as the need to get new licenses. Also, stop making stuff that HT is already doing, go all in on Dune.
I do tend to agree that Inart would maybe be best focusing on stuff Hot Toys is not doing, then they can really corner that area of the market... and *then* start to branch out to IPs that Hot Toys have done. But yeah maybe Inart already did a better Superman than Hot Toys... I can't tell yet until I get mine, I can't trust the influencer batch reviews tbh!
I would class that Christopher Reeve prototype, which is terrible, as more of a work-in-progress, a placeholder just to show that they are working on this character. Inart really needs to provide the green crystal which built the fortress of solitude among many other things. The real prototype will be the one which accompanies their pre-order listings, something we should hopefully see soon. I must disagree on the Hot Toys version. It's a great figure in hand and still holds up very well, though there is obviously room for improvements - eyes, even more accurate likeness, body, height, costume ..... As with the Inart TDK Joker, for some reason the Hot Toys Christopher Reeve looks nowhere near as good in media as it does in person.

Inart paul Atreides dune figure is just out this world in hand not owned anything that comes close,from a qc point lets be fair hot toys have had more than there fair share of qc issues,inart now have licence for walking dead not that they are figures i would buy
Yeah the Paul Atreides looks fantastic. And the Joker 4 pack looks unbelievably good! Personally I've not had any QC issues with the 100's of Hot Toys I bought thankfully! 4:50 - As a collector, I couldn't wait for InArt to release their Superman, but to my great disappointment, I was totally let down 👎 I was expecting a custom silicone body with Henry Cavill's proportions, something innovative like an attachable laser eye effect and a much better way to depict Superman in flight. Instead, we got a slightly improved version of the Hot Toys Superman and nothing more 🤷♂️ If Batman is going to be the same = thanks, but no thanks InArt 👎

The only thing that looks interesting in this reveal is the Superman Christopher Reeves. I hope they show more reveals, like a Dune Part-Two Paul Atreides, John Wick & Neo.
It will definitely be better for Inart if they focus on the IPs that Hot Toys aren't touching. That Dune figure looks great, and they have a track record with LotR now too! 👍🏻
@TK421Collectibles it seems they're trying to cover things HT haven't for the most part which are rather uninteresting or if they do the same they're ridiculously more expensive. Not a good strategy imo. The batman seems a little better overall, but not by much, and most isn't that noticeable.
I know you like your hot toys, but without InArt on the scene then hot toys would have never gone down the Artisan root. Nothing wrong with hot toys but also the same for InArt. I also have the BvS Batman 2.0 from hot toys on preorder, but when inart put there one up I will get that as well. The Inart 2022 Batman is better than the hot toys one, but that's just my opinion as I do have both. Definitely getting anything Lord of the rings that inart do lol

INART figures make my Hot Toys Star Wars and MCU figures look like toys. With some, INART makes them look like scaled up 12” play toys.

I like that Inart and Jazzinc are making characters that hot toys have neglected.
However, It would be interesting to see Inart do a Luke Skywalker or Han solo.
Yeah would definitely be interested to see how their Luke, Han, Leia would turn out if they got the chance/licence 👍🏻
Since I only collect Star Wars i don’t think I’ll ever own a Inart piece but they look amazing
Good tactic sticking to just Star Wars tbh! I will be sticking to BvS if the Superman is amazing (oh and the Reeve Superman if they've significantly improved it) 🙌🏻
I have had terrible QC issues with Hot Toys over the past 12 years: PERS breaking, limbs which will not move, loose magnets because of weak glue, pleather disintegrating (in chilly England), missing accessories... The neck socket on my Artisan Imposter Joker snapped when I inserted the head, the brittle plastic is extremely fragile. One of the eyes on my sculpted DX33 Joker fell out..... The very same thing happened to another collector who I follow. In short, QC issues are hardly exclusive to Inart, they are a bane of the hobby.
Wow interesting to hear you say that! I've literally had zero QC issues with any of my Hot Toys figures. Actually other than the Artisan Joker missing the pencil, (but managed to get a replacement), oh and the 501st "Battlalion" nameplate 😅 But yeah other than that, issues have been non-existent. Sounds like you've had a rough time with some of your figures though! Gutted about your Artisan Imposter Joker especially, hope you was able to get it sorted mate! (just subbed to your channel btw!) 🙌🏻

If you was in the plans to do for 2024 glad to see they’re following through 2025 finishing the bvs line. I wish if they can include now standardly for all figures that have two head , particularly like a Batman if we can have a head scope stand to go with the second head

Walking Dead is fantastic mate, well the first few seasons when they (kinda) followed the comic book stories. Went a bit downhill tho. I like the thought of butter beer. Is it actual beer? And yeah 💯 love Gal 🥰😅 (hides comment from Mrs TK)... The Reeves sculpt was a year or two ago so hoping it was like a first attempt or something, cos yeah ngl personally I thought it looked terrible! But so did Hot Toys Obi-Wan, yet when that released it was a HUGE improvement to the prototype!

Yes the bulky Batman bodies do make posing a bit of challenge! That Superman pose is definitely *the* pose to have him in, like you say if it can do that then definitely buying!! 🙌🏻

Ah ok, I know ToysBuyingAgent can get Inart figures and I think they ship to US. Would be expensive though! I think that is one of the problems Inart will have If they cant do some kind of distribution deal with the likes of Sideshow.

Depends where you are based tbh. I use The Good The Bad and The Robots, Toys On Fire UK, Toys Buying Agent, ebay and Facebook groups 👍🏻
I’ve yet to get into IA but they do make great figures, generally better than the typical HT. That said, they also cost nearly twice as much as a typical HT so I expect them to be better. That said, they also release maybe 3 figures a year, in much fewer quantities so each figure made should be near perfect. But we know they have QC problems. That needs to be addressed, as well as the need to get new licenses. Also, stop making stuff that HT is already doing, go all in on Dune.
They can do the same things as hot toys if they choose. People will buy because they want a superior take on them
I do tend to agree that Inart would maybe be best focusing on stuff Hot Toys is not doing, then they can really corner that area of the market... and *then* start to branch out to IPs that Hot Toys have done. But yeah maybe Inart already did a better Superman than Hot Toys... I can't tell yet until I get mine, I can't trust the influencer batch reviews tbh!
I would class that Christopher Reeve prototype, which is terrible, as more of a work-in-progress, a placeholder just to show that they are working on this character. Inart really needs to provide the green crystal which built the fortress of solitude among many other things. The real prototype will be the one which accompanies their pre-order listings, something we should hopefully see soon. I must disagree on the Hot Toys version. It's a great figure in hand and still holds up very well, though there is obviously room for improvements - eyes, even more accurate likeness, body, height, costume ..... As with the Inart TDK Joker, for some reason the Hot Toys Christopher Reeve looks nowhere near as good in media as it does in person.

Inart paul Atreides dune figure is just out this world in hand not owned anything that comes close,from a qc point lets be fair hot toys have had more than there fair share of qc issues,inart now have licence for walking dead not that they are figures i would buy
Yeah the Paul Atreides looks fantastic. And the Joker 4 pack looks unbelievably good! Personally I've not had any QC issues with the 100's of Hot Toys I bought thankfully! Other than one missing accessory and a misspelt nameplate 😅 Interesting to see how those Walking Dead figures turn out, I loved that show! Thanks for watching and commenting 🙌🏻

I couldn't wait for InArt to release their Superman, but to my great disappointment, I was totally let down 👎
I was expecting a custom silicone body with Henry Cavill's proportions, something innovative like an attachable laser eye effect and a much better way to depict Superman in flight.
Instead, we got a slightly improved version of the
Hot Toys Superman and nothing more 🤷♂️

I EXPECTED = my personal expectations were that, InArt would include things like a silicone body and ultimately something more than what Hot Toys had already done with their Superman.

Personally, I love it when a product justifies its price and in the case of Superman by InArt, what I was expecting just wasn’t there for me personally!

The only thing that looks interesting in this reveal is the Superman Christopher Reeves. I hope they show more reveals, like a Dune Part-Two Paul Atreides, John Wick & Neo.
It will definitely be better for Inart if they focus on the IPs that Hot Toys aren't touching. That Dune figure looks great, and they have a track record with LotR now too! 👍🏻
They've done nothing that appeals to me yet, superman i thought about but not a leatard man tbh. Reeves might appeal though

@TK421Collectibles it seems they're trying to cover things HT haven't for the most part which are rather uninteresting or if they do the same they're ridiculously more expensive. Not a good strategy imo. The batman seems a little better overall, but not by much, and most isn't that noticeable.
I know you like your hot toys, but without InArt on the scene then hot toys would have never gone down the Artisan root. Nothing wrong with hot toys but also the same for InArt.
I also have the BvS Batman 2.0 from hot toys on preorder, but when inart put there one up I will get that as well. The Inart 2022 Batman is better than the hot toys one, but that's just my opinion as I do have both. Definitely getting anything Lord of the rings that inart do lol
Yes Inart have definitely pushed Hot Toys into upping their game with the introduction of the Artisan line! And cheers for the information Todd, I know you're unbiased and the fact you have BOTH 2022 Batman figures, can't really argue with that! I'll take your opinion any day over someone who only has one version and can't probably compare in-hand. Haha yeah thought you'd be going all in with the LotR figures!!
