COCA-COLA STICKY PORK BELLY
INGREDIENTS:
1 & 1/2 kilo pork belly
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 & 1/2 tbsp calamansi juice (katas ng kalamansi)
1 head garlic, chopped
1 cup banana ketchup (banana sauce)
1 & 1/2 cups Coca-Cola
1 tsp ground black pepper
7 tbsp unsalted butter or margarine

Coke makes sense as tenderizer and its sugar compliments the sourness of calamansi. I can imagine the taste that is good. Maybe a pinch of chilli powder for a bit of kick to make it better.
And herbs to add aroma.

I grew up eating this my mom and lola used to call this dish "buro". Maybe ditch the butter since the fat from the pork belly will likely render and further reduce the sauce until it sticks to the belly, as preferrence i use bigger slice of liempo for this 😉
