I wish the UFC allowed fighters to customize their shorts and have more personality. Obviously soccor kicks and kneeing a downed opponent to the head is illegal in the U.S.

Two outstanding warriors. I don't think the decision was made until the final seconds. Sam, with his karate background, favored kicks, and Ray was the better Boxer/Kickboxer.
Ray was like the Roy Jones of kickboxing. Godmode in the Light and Cruiserweights but just gave up too much of an advantage to very best of the heavyweights. No doubt he gave them a run for their money and became a legend in his own right but a great big fighter is usually going to win over the great smaller fighters.
Sefo is an great instinctive fighter, naturally gifted, very quick hands and defense, but the only problem is that he loses focus during the fight, and gets distracted. If he had the 3 round intensity of Bonjasky and Hari, he would have won a lot more.

When fighters of equal greatness combat, it's just a matter of one mistake leading to loss. Ray's mistake is not focusing enough by letting guards down, smiling and pointing here and there while the big guy is totally focused.
I am a huge fan of Sefo but Greco clearly deserved to be winner. If Sefo was interested on his fight skills rather than taunting he would have better chance to win.
Why did Ray nod and smirk etc at his opponents, it is to be cheeky and antagonistic or is it a kind of acknowledgement that he likes it and it was a good attack etc and keep em coming?
