Could you maybe get into more detail regarding the sharps and flats? How do I know which notes are sharp and what does it look like in the sheet music? Thanks for all your helpful videos!

Check the description box - I’ve left the link to sheet music for these scales. Perhaps this will help you to better understand which notes are sharp.

@@TheTuneProject Thanks, but I already know about A, D and G mayor. I was just wondering in general how to read sharps and flats in sheet music. :)

@@carinapusteblume9039 The key signature at the beginning of the piece shows what notes will be sharp or flat throughout the piece so no need to put the sharp or flat symbols in front of each affected note.

The Key Symbol on the staff is what tells the sharps in a piece of music or a scale. When you see the sharp symbol # on the staff next to Treble Clif at the beginning of each line it tells you what’s sharp in the music. As for my simplistic explanation, one Sharp note normally means that the F is sharp. You’ll also notice that the Sharp symbol # falls on the line where the F note is for the E string. Two sharp symbols will normally be for the F and the C notes. The C sharp symbol will fall on the spot where the C# from the A string music note falls. Three Sharp symbols represent the F#, C#, and the G# which can be seen on the A Major scale. Also the G# symbol falls in the position of the staff where the G# music note is located. That’s how I kind of look at it. If I stated anything wrong someone please correct me as I am always learning.
