I did find a video that says to pour a half gallon of water on the clothes in the washer before starting, supposed to make the unit think that there are more clothes in the washer. It’s supposed to add more water then and wash better. Will try that today.
My washer repair man told me not to buy a cabrio washer. He said direct drive is the best because it lasts longer and is much less expensive to repair.
Hmmmm. Glad you are enjoying your washer because our same machine is a piece of sh%@! I would not wish this piece of junk on anyone. Clothes get watted up even with small loads. Not all the time, but it happens enough that I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

I have the same washer. Three years old and I needed to replace the wash plate. Pulled the wash plate and the drive gear was also badly worn. Had to replace the transmission also. Got everything installed and it would not calibrate. Error code said I clutch was bad. Replaced the clutch. Still will not calibrate. New error code. Whirlpool sucks ass! Gonna replace the POS with new Samsung W&D.
I have one exactly like yours, but mine keeps throwing up codes. Right now it is showing codes F6E3. I’ve unplugged and waited the 5 minutes and tried to finish wash and the next thing it pops up those codes again. How can I fix this? Can you help me please!!
Not sure why people are complaining so much. I purchased this months ago and my sweaty OCP uniforms “Active Duty Army” come out squeaky clean. I don’t watch the washer while it’s washing. I set it and let it do it’s thing.

i used to get white marks on my clothes, i switched to pods and it went away. whirlpool recommends one to 2 tablespoons. i have a similar washer and love it. i used to do 2 loads of clothes before now i do one.
About 5 years until the tub bearing goes bad. Depending, I guess, on how much it’s used. Had the same machine, when it stopped working dumped it and bought a new one, not Cabrio. Would have been super expensive to repair
I have this washer three years and it’s giving me so much a problem right now and have flashing light the start button flashing with the light This is not a good washer since I bought it I had to come to fix it in the first year and replace the headboard they replaced it two more pieces and it’s giving me all sorts of problems not good

Second job I also feel as if I'm doing laundry at the laundry mat because it hardly uses any water and the clothes seem dirty???? I'm not sure if I'm actually using it correctly. also I went to check on a load and turns out the machine was completely powered off and the laundry never rinsed 😯

Im not really sure how to do the cleaning cycle yet? Am i suppose to clean washer then after that use the rinse & spin cycle? Please make a video im a little confused i live the washer but not quite sure how to do the cleaning part yet.

I love this washer everyones just hating on it cause the water doesn't go higher than their clothes, well duhh HE washers don't use a lot of water. As long as it washes your clothes good you're fine, which it does.
DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!!!, If you do make sure you get the 5 yr. extended warranty!! Its been serviced 5 times in 3 years and today being 4/16/19 will be the 6th. this time not only the electronics but also the bearing is going out! This is the biggest piece of crap we have ever bought! I added all the repair bills up except for today which I'm sure will be over $400.00 it will be over twice the amount we payed for the washer and they still will not replace it with a new one! Thank God for the warranty!!
Been repairing appliances over 40 years, all I can say is good luck on that 20 years now hahahahah should have fixed the old one, hope you took out the extended warranty your gonna need it, and anything over five years is gravy. Your water valve is next to the computer board hahahaha Einstein engineering I call it !
I am an engineer and will NOT purchase a Whirlpool washer again. I purchased the Cabrio set and the washer lid is extremely poorly designed. The tension is too severe against the hinge and the glass top causing the plastic surrounding lid to crack. This in turn will worsen and cause the safety lock to not engage.....thus, you will not be able to run the machine. Whirlpool is not standing behind this engineer flaw and wants customers to pay $250-$300 to replace the lid. It will only crack again, in time. Thus, very disappointed in Whirlpool....shame on them for not standing behind a design flaw.
Hate this washer - soap doesn't wash out - always leaves a residue on my clothes and I use a very tiny amount of HE liquid detergent. Takes way to long to do laundry -

“Bulky/Sheets” loads or “Deep Water” cycle, only problem is that extends the wash time by about 30-40 minutes. 😕

That's just the point; it DOESN'T clean your clothes; it doesn't AGITATE your clothes because there IS NO AGITATOR and it NEVER uses enough water!
Why did you get a washer without a window lid you could've got a washer with a window lid
