    As an American, I am totally fascinated with the modern toilets and the bidet, which are almost non-existent here. South Park had a funny episode on these this year. I'd love to have an episode on them on your channel and how they're used. Although I suppose showing them in use may violate community standards. :) Keep up the great videos.

      Haha! I'm with you, Robert. America is behind the times when it comes to such things. I have to replace a toilet in my home and I'm looking for a Japanese toilet that will work in the space. I'm embarking on a bathroom adventure. 🤣

    • @hellsop
      @hellsop ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The closest I've managed is a BioBidet BB-2000. It at least comes with a long enough cord to account for that US toilets don't often come with electrical outlets underneath the tank. (That is On The List for the bathroom remodel someday, though.)

    Wow wow! Thank you both for giving the definition of ‘Henn na,’ because when I was growing up, it was always just the word strange. Never was it ever defined as evolution. Henn na hotel is definitely something I would love to try someday. Not sure about talking to a dinosaur though. 😂 I can’t help but wonder, what if there’s an emergency? Such as the sink backing up? Is there an attendant hidden somewhere? Your Nagasaki champon and Irodori champon dishes looked delicious. Brother Shinichi, as soon as I saw yours, I thought shungiku at first, then you said it was kale. Your kale is so much prettier than ours. What a fun overnight stay! Loved the beer machine and the little combini. Thank you for taking us with you!

    Guys, thanks for the room tour! I think sooner or later, most hotels are headed to a self check in process. Most airlines now offer self check-in for flights including self baggage check in for domestic flights. You do everything at the check in portals in the terminal. Take care everybody!

      Just like injecting air into a basketball. This version must be Japaneses but it obviously just inject the liquid from a hole in the bottom. American invention version, you just put the glass down and uses a trap door like bottom of the glass and pushed beer up into the glass and the bottom closes from the weight of the liquid and a magnet. Not sure which one is better? The American version would seem to dispense faster.

    The American Version of that Beer Dispenser is better. Invented for fast Dispensing. You just set the glass down and it actually fills from the bottom because the bottom is a magnetic false bottom after the beer is in the glass the trap door bottom closes water tight.

    this looks fun, one queston do japan accept credit card or visa for us outside of japan

    • @JeffryJohnston
      @JeffryJohnston ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, but a typical card will likely have a foreign transaction fee (take a look at your terms and conditions, they can be found online). There are cards with both no foreign transaction fee and no annual fee, yet still include a rewards program (maybe not as good as normal rewards, but better than nothing!). BTW, don't get cash from an ATM using a credit card, as that's considered a cash advance and interest starts immediately. So, also consider opening a bank account with a debit card that has no foreign ATM or foreign transaction fees. There are some like Charles Schwab that will even rebate ATM fees. If you get travel cards you can keep those on you and still bring your normal cards (in a different location) as an emergency backup.
