Sir your all video give me best knowledge to increase my knowledge in highway construction, sir you are best teacher for highway construction.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Sir, Do we have a Rate analysis (RA) for CGBM? I couldn't find it in MoRTH Rate Specifications. Please provide a reference for the same; it will be very helpful.
sir, for bituminous mix air voids is 20 to 35 % but what should be the required percentage of dry aggregate air void (without bitumen) .how do we take reference from code since it is not mention in IRC : sp:125-2019.
Voids in dry rodded condition is required when you want to have a mix with stone on stone contact like in the case of SMA. In BM the voids are randomly distributed and there is no requirement of checking air voids in aggregates.
CGBM has been primarily used on urban roads. It has not been tried on NH or EWs so far. Its suitability under the heavy traffic of commercial vehicles is doubtful (not studied so far).
Sir, Can CGBM be used as Binder Course for Traffic less than 5MSA. In the video, with reference to IRC 125 you make a mention of thickness 30mm for CGBM. In such case, can we use as a replacement to conventional BM layer of 50mm used ? Any inputs about costing from Surat Municipal Corporation where the trails have been done ?
CGBM is not for binder course. It is best suited for the surface course layer due to its impervious surface. Cost of laying 30 mm CGM is roughly 40 - 45 percent higher than that of 50 mm BM.

So nice of you. Thanks
Sir...many thanks...to you.. for such types of information sharing...a new technique...
Thanks and welcome. Forward the link in your groups also for better dissemination.

No dear, I have no idea of rate analsyis. Someone who is engaged in consturction work may be able to help you.
sir explain about Taguchi method if Possible
Ok, will try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you so much sir. It is very comprehensive.
Thanks, please circulate the link in your groups also.
Sir please make videos on Field construction of WBM and GSB
OK
Can CGBM a good surface layer for National Highway or Expressways ?? Is there any limitations for using this on high volume roads ?

Thank you sir for reply.
