Anyone who has ridden any other CG bike can see the difference with the KPX... good work MC.
Still has crappy welds.
@jimmywhitlow2012 yeah, that was a bit disappointing
Cheesy your compressor saved the day ...! I Talk to Brett later he was very thankful he would have never made it home 50 +miles with the nail in his tire.
I'm impressed with the KPX pulls pretty good and that seat is comfy.
That route is my new cut through from 67 over.
Thanks Great video. look forward to the next.
Ps at least I wasn't late getting going for work since it's Sunday😂😂😂😂
Haha. Glad it helped him out! Yeah man that was a good ride will definitely do another one. That is a better route, as I always say I'll take the back side roads any day even if I get lost it's part of the fun
You have such a great community motocheez
Thanks for another great tour Motocheez :D
New footage looks good. 👍
Show em how it's done Cheez mon respect💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨💨
looking good. i like your new bike.... and the new cam. Be safe, or dive fast take chances... lol
That is one beautiful area you live in !
Thanks!
Love the shirt
😂
Mr Cheesy , maybe im a day late. But from what I understand. If you contact lifan they are passing around an flashdrive for the esu that fixes most problems ie. Throttle lag
I heard the same, have not contacted them yet
That was my friends on the ebikes love the videos
Oh, nice!
Hey, Cheez! Great stuff, as always. I bought a new Honda xr150l last June for my daughter. Folks like me are paying $3,500 to $4,000 OTD for a Honda Chonda, if that makes sense; it's not nearly as nice as your Lifan KPX nor as powerful. If the bike had been for me, I would have had no problem going with the Lifan. It's a good deal for a good bike! Thanks for sharing it with U.S. Cheez Heads!
Can't beat Honda reliability though!
You know at the $3k price point I think I would invest in a used Japanese bike. $3k kinda ruins the whole idea of a cheap bike lol. But it is nice. I wish they would offer us more for the same price actually to really make it a deal to buy China
I hear ya, the price of everything has gone up ridiculously. And at 3k you can probably find a decent used jap bike... Maybe. I'm looking on marketplace all the time for an old TS or DS Suzuki, prices crazy
I know I just sold a junky suzuki 50cc quad for 5hundo @@MotoCheez
and I think China uses rusty metal, my handlebars are rusted UNDER THE PAINT.and its a few months old , makes me worry about longevity, and resale must suck on Chondas @@MotoCheez
That looked like an awesome ride. Reminded me of a lot of backroads here in WV. I noticed in the last few minutes of this vid that thing has some pep.. Looks like she'll really get up and go after you get it broken in. Especially compared to my DLX. Can't wait to get back on 2 wheels. (I have a short-bad connection- I think to the Stator)
Thanks! It's noticeable over the DLX.
On your DLX, check the upper side panel bolt, left side. On mine (which is blades now) it was too long and wore into the harness, shorting once in a while popping fuses.
I want to do a video on it because I see many having similar ussue
The only ditty, just wish the lifan came in black 😭😭
Beyond that hawwww yeah!
My 1990 yz125 brake line has the same brake line setup so its been used for years and years on Dirt bikes not just the new Honda's.
Hello Moto...love your great videos...wish I lived closer to you so we could have a ride together...have a wonderful day 😊😊😊
I've got a Templar 250 M with about $250 on mods, woke the bike up, made it road and light highway worthy. Now I wish I'd seen this a year ago when I bought it.
That's awesome, what did you end up doing?
Great video I really wish I would’ve gotten a KPX instead of two lifan street bikes, however, I did get one for my wife to learn on to ride with me. But so far that has not been a success lol maybe one day I’ll pick up a KPX.
Also, be careful of the rubber gasket on the oil filter. If it’s anything like the KPM 200 the rubber gasket is not right and will not fit. You might break the ears off on the side cover if you crank it down too tight because of the wrong size gasket , might be better off using the original gasket that is on there right now.
Yeah I saw a king with an o-ring, If it doesn't push and I never force anything with bolts. But it's good to know thanks for letting me know. Yeah I'm digging this bike a lot!
Love it! I want one! Needs more brapppp, thinking of getting an exhaust for it??
If I can find a tune for it
12:00 an easy fix for that is take a sanding paper and make the ball and holder surface rough... works for me everytime on holders like that
I was thinking of doing that and others mentioned it so I'll give that a shot
Nice scenery. Appears the $1,000 extra is worth it.
Thanks. I believe it is!
Cheese always prepared! 👍😉
I was missing acid and the caps also but the place were ordered it from sent it to me
It does remind me of the xt250.
You can sand the ball joint on mount or put some cuts in it with a sharp knife i do thst with my phone mounts or add some glue and move it around until it drives dries will give it some grip
I thought about that... I'll try that
I still love the DJI Osmo 3.
Rt7 is a great road to ride on .
North of Kent especially. I like the side roads best
Cheez each time I watch your videos it amazes me that you ride without gloves. If you go down, your natural instinct is to catch yourself. And at that point your hands become road crayons. I have seen it twice and it is not pretty. No flesh on the palms.
I've also seen the same, typically when I fall I do try to roll with my shoulder in the past I've never really put my hand down. Plus when it's hot out I can't stand having gloves on. Usually if you put your hands down you may your hand or your elbow and break something so I do try to roll with it, using the foot first of course
good video i like the new CRF300 rally but this Bike is more in my price range.
almost all my riding would be on Road .
That was a real nice ride, recognized many of those places, living in Dover. That's a nice bike. I hear what you're saying though, there's a guy around us selling a '23 xr 150 for 3k. I'd probably still go for that. I have a lifan xpect, no problems with it over 2 years but i'm still not sure where to get parts for it when I need them??
👍👍 I thought LIFAN carried most parts. This engine is a variant of a CB Honda clone engine too for parts
The xr150 should have been fuel injected for 3000. I’d buy this over that any day.
PS I forgot to mention it on my last message, I have been watching a lot of like those scooters electric scooters and E bikes that you ride a lot of them have been catching fire, it showed one place in China where they had outlawed a bunch of those and they were just rolls and rolls of them electric bikes caught on fire and they could never get it put out, and that one ship that those car haulers had a big fire on and this was like 3 weeks later they would take them out of this ship and they was putting them in a big tank that had I guess water in it and those things were still steaming and carrying on , so I would be careful having them in my garage but you got sense enough to figure that out you don't need a grumpy old codger like me to tell you, 😜 God bless and keep having fun, 🇺🇲, I just love the sound of that bike, so quiet get certain way it's got a little throat to it,,
Oh yeah, I've seen those videos where they catch on fire, they definitely don't like water being lithium battery and I see a lot of them catch on fire charging if someone uses improper charger. I do keep them out in my container not in my garage
the Templar X 250 is a decent option inbetween the Hawk/TBR and KPX
Just got mine in the mail today. Was able to figure out the speedo seal all by myself lol. Did you happen to check if it came with a magnetic drain plug? I’ve had some lifan motors come stock with them and some without. Usually the first mod I make and wanted to know if I need to get one. Just when I finished assembly and first heat cycle it started pouring and hasn’t stopped. 😢. And mine came with less than half a quart of oil in it. Good thing I checked.
None of the other China bikes came with that seal for the pickup, that's why I was kind of baffled.
I just did a video changing the oil, mine didn't come w magnetic drain plug, they do have a paper element filter for it though. Damn. Ya I always check
That guy with no sleeves at the campsite was hot as fuck
😂
Kove 450 rally, latest from china, like to see one of those on this channel.
Two brothers pipe, had one on my 91 fzr1000 back in the 90s.
Wrecked the bike and put it on my jeep wrangler,it sounded wicked with the 4.0 ho
I looked them up, nice. I don't see pricing. Wish they had more dualsport
The race version is 13500$,and the street legal is 9000$
There is the gpx450 that has been around for a while.
@@bbcbeerbottomcontent was trying to get specs off website, they must have good HP for those prices. I've seen the fse450
For 9k is to much
I've been looking at the brozz, but this might be the one.
This is much better than the bras, the bras is a great bike but this being the bigger motor overhead cam 20 horsepower and having a three link rear suspension it's really a lot more bike
Do they put that engine in a dirt bike? I've been looking (not too hard) for a fuel injected 250 China (dirt) bike for a while now...
I live in CA and most of these dual sports can't be imported legally. (Noticed you said that in E1.)
Glad your video popped up in my feed...I like your style...
I believe lifan does. Yeah that stinks it's not CA compliant, it definitely should be. Thank you
I think the XT250 has a much lower seat height though. I've been thinking about selling my 97 DR441 and getting a XT250 for just that reason. My 61 year old legs just aren't as flexible as they once were.
You're probably right, I hear you on the legs thing. Ride on brother!
Would you tell us more about how the suspension felt? ... over imperfect surfaces - on pavement, off-pavement ... soft, hard, plush, jarring, absorbing ?
Suspension is medium, rarely jarring even on bigger bumps. it's a bit harder then my DRZ400. Very close to how my CRF250L was. Handles the washboard dirt roads better then I expected.
Handles great on pavement too. Have not tried off road yet, tires are 50/50 waiting for it to dry up a bit
What is that trail app that you showed for a moment?
Revr app
How is your property down in Florida? Did you get hit by the hurricane?
Not a branch down or even a puddle. Thanks for asking. Flooding Was under 2 miles away tho
Kicking myself I never got up with you when my inlaws lived near New millford But I mostly visited around the holidays when it was stupid cold out 🤷♂️
Yeah man. If you ever do get up this way....
@MotoCheez👍 Appreciate it but i will probley never be up there again since they sold there house and live in Georgia now
@drew429420 I'm 3 hours from GA at my FL place 😁
@@MotoCheez lol 10 4
Cheezy ,I'm sure you have seen the Kove 450 , but they are not that cheap.
Yeah another guy commented on that bike here they're like nine grand for the low version and 13,000 for the higher end, I'll pass on that one
Nice-looking bike their cheese, how much torque is that saying how like I'm about 275 lb on this 400 I have well I'm sorry I had it would bring the wheels up not really trying to really but if you really nailed hard out of 3rd and into 4 it would bring the wheels up real easy, I'm wondering if that would would have that much high-end like that, I've got a 650 v Strom I've got to try to lower it about 3 in somehow, little short fat guys have a hard time getting on it like me, keep up the good videos, then I hope your Florida residential was ok,,
Almost 15ftlbs TQ. Nah. This won't power lift anything but first, the inverted forks add weight to front
Florida place didn't even get a branch on the ground. We're about 2 mi away from the flood zone
How are the vibrations? I have a Hawk DLX and i love riding it, but the vibrations just kill me. My hands are buzzin' after an hour.
This bike is counterbalanced, so the vibrations are very minimal just like My CRF 250 Honda was. Did you see they have a new hawk X out? That's also counterbalanced, I reviewed it about a week ago
Is the speedometer accurate? And did you find out if it is tunable?
Speedometer 3mph off, which is typical on bikes. No tunes that I know of yet
Can't drink with my pet either...
That's about the same price as the Honda 150 but you have to pay dealer's cost with that which raises the price. I'd take the kpx any day.
Yeah with dealer fees and delivery charges etc I figured I would say it's close to the same price but yeah I bet you that ends up 800 more. Me too
But ain't rhe honda 150cc and this one is 250cc?
@sgtshultz13 I've heard, didn't know that much! Wow
I know a vfr when i see one :)
:)
Cheez... lol, You could always sandpaper your Ball..!! Ha ha, After much research I just bought the 360 OneRS (Twin pack, 40K lens and the 360 lens). $439 from Best Buy.. To get away from my Go-Pro hero 9 that would not shut off w/ the media mod on it... I just got tired of the glitches and their support is um, less than desirable.. even with the full warranty and subscription bla bla.. I love the quality of the build etc and am just getting it set up... I have it chin mounted so can run the mike inside.. I will be doing the 360 mounted on the handlebars.. Cool...
I also have the twin pack, mine came with 2 batteries a dual charger, camera case and insta extendable stick 128gb card, Amazon $460 amzn.to/3sJTxjD
Takes a LOT of data for the 360mode, app is decent for editing and converting, definitely take time to convert to MP4 when done. If converting to 360 to edit on your own editor it takes a forever
I told another guy I may sandpaper it
@@MotoCheez Great price for all the extra's with the Camera...
@captsam54 did you order your microphone adapter?
@@MotoCheez Yep So if you have the 360 mounted on your handlebars, you can plug in the USB and have constant power.. And bought an extra battery and got the Sony mike to put inside my helmet.. ECM LV1 w/ right angle connector.. I was looking for a mike w/ a right angle connector and the shortest wire I could find so as to not have so much to stick in the helmet.. This thing is small.. cool..
You might want to put that brake line on the outside of the fork before the brake rotor starts to cut into it...
That's how I assembled first, it definitely goes inside, soldi mount and flexes up by handlebar loop
Try using a rubber band around that ball and see if it will stay in position.
I'll give it a shot, thought about sanding w coarse paper
Yo moto cheese where you at in georgia lol not to be wierd or nothin but i got one one of these bad boys and im right next to chattanooga in rossville ga lol be cool to go ride sometime
My southern videos are in western Florida. Northern vids are in CT
Have u tried the kp mini?
No, I haven't but was told it's same as my RPS Condor. I'd love to see one up close to compare
@@MotoCheez I don't know how to add the vid or pics. But a have a 21 customized. Much better ride then my fully upgraded 21 hawk
@markstreets8172 you can put a link up. Sometimes TH-cam blocks them though.
Kinda weird how this bike comes with an acid battery. My Lifan X-Pect came with a twelve volt lithium ion. Still, this bike is gonna be my upgrade from that. Gonna keep my 200cc and make it a Chinese T-dub 😏
Lithium? Nice, most come with glass matt batteries now. Lithium nice upgrade unless you get freezing winters and you want to ride.
Yeah. It lays on its back under the seat. My buddy at work bought a kpx after I bought my bike. Super impressed with the build quality of these things. Just wish I had six speeds lol
Speaking of 450cc China bikes, Have you taken a gander at the Kove 450?
I haven't seen that one, I'll look
Looked them up, pretty wild. No prices tho
They're asking 9 grand MSRP for that bike from what I could see.
@jesses1589 wow, I'd buy a new DRZ400 for much less lol
it does look kinda of like and XT 250... I had one before this bike..
What is the fastest you've had the lifan on a flat road?
I believe it was about 74 miles per hour. I did have it in one of the videos. Spring is coming so I'll be riding that when I get back to my Connecticut house and I'll definitely do a top speed run
@@MotoCheez I am currently on your 3rd video about the bike, any idea how many miles you have on it now?
@Hunter1st I don't exactly remember, Winter came on so soon I stored it away and I'm at my Florida location right now
where I live you need a 250cc at least just to keep from getting run over by traffic
1st comment too!
What is that gps screen you got on there?

CHEEZY...you have to be the best rider I've ever seen!!....cause any mistep that puts you flat side down is gonna be real painful!!...and you wife will never trust you again!! LoL!!
I'm pretty good! Lol
I noticed that you are showing more of yourself on your video's, must be done with you probation. Lol!
😂😁👍
No booze no pets boo 😒
I know. BUMMER
Cheeze, lol you need to be a bit more careful in your vids. Probably NOT the best Idea to film yourself rolling by a 25 MPH sign, while simultaneously showing the speedo increasing from 34mph on up.... Might make for what we (ex) LEO's call "conclusive evidence" RFLMAO ;) Beautiful bike area you got there, looks like there's plenty of oxygen :)
True true ... Or maybe the speed was increased after that sign. 😂
No need for that
Lol
If you're in CT I'm in Maine we should ride together. 😁
There's a few miles between us!
Hey Cheez, Your new camera is very clear on shots. I have been going rounds between the KPX and the XPECT. I know the differences well. Again another grand for the KPX but more bike. My main thing is the seat height. I've watched your vids. What is your inseam length and how do your feet hit the ground. Also how tall is your buddy that road it? I'm 5'-8" with between a 30-32 inch inseam. I wish I could sit on a KPX. I did own and ride a KLR for years so seat height isn't a huge go or no go for me especially since the KPX is a lot lighter than the PIG KLRs. Just trying to get an assessment or real world feel of that KPX. I'm getting more sucked into the KPX. The XPECT 200 is a nice little bike too but I'm afraid I might regret going that route vs. the KPX. Both bikes have pluses and minuses for me. Thanks! The KPX is a better looking bike than the XT.
I have a 32" inseam. Chris is a bit shorter then me. It's tall to get on it because 3 link suspension soft at top, but once you're on it Im about 1" from flat footing. I may loosen the rear spring a tad more to test, I like soft suspension. I'd def have to shorten the kickstand then.
@@MotoCheez Thanks, Cheez! I will probably be getting one. Last China bike I ordered came from Arlington and TX I believe are the same so I appreciate the discount thru TX Powersports.
Is that the go-pro 360 max? What brand is it?
This is the insta360 one RS
