I bought that combo not long ago. It works great, tunes easily just by moving the whip elements in and out. My only complaint is that the flat "feet" on the tripod don't have a hole in them to enable driving a thin spike to anchor. I hadn't worried about that until a windy day this month kept knocking it over. I have a drill, probably will do it myself; just a suggestion. Otherwise, very pleased with the package.
The feet on the tripod have plastic boots you can remove temporarily. You can fish a zip tie so that it wraps around the leg and before fully tightening the zip tie run another through it and create a loop of your choosing for size and then snip the excess zip tie off and it makes a very strong point for any tent stake to capture. You will notice that the zip tie can only pass through the holes facing one way to allow the plastic leg ends to pop back in place fully or orient the zip ties passing through the holes so that you can pop the cap back on and then tighten the zip tie to capture and run the second through the first as you tighten it! It works very well and does not interfere with the tripod legs at all! Play with it and see what you think!
Hello, thank you for your interest. We only sell on our own official website and official dealers. You are free to choose the purchasing method that suits you best.
The tripod is larger and heavier than the antenna case, but it's not that bad, fits easily into the trunk of my compact car. It does extend to about 15 feet so it's no slouch. I'm sure you could put a carbon fiber pole there easily to get it higher for an inverted V dipole.
You can use pvc tubing of the right diameter to extend that tripod base, making it more stable and raising it up a little.
Nice video, many thanks Jesse.
Hi are you disponibility? Tanks MArco in3ufw

Not very portable if you have to drag a tripod around, If you want portable try a PAC 12 antenna
