I don't know if I hate or love the fact that there are people out there I've somehow never heard of and my first introduction to them is they have 10s of millions of followers for some reason.
I guess it can make the world feel "bigger" again. I often feel like I understand the world and its people, so learning about the 1 billion view channels I've never heard of is humbling.
But almost immediately I double down on being pompous because the channels are just the next level of trash. And so my ego enjoys learning about billions more stupid people, and declaring a loss of faith in humanity. It may be a character flaw of mine, or I could be entirely correct... I suspect it's a little of column A and column B.
