Thank u so much
Excellent concert. This is Elliott at his best with a full band who are also extremely talented.
I was born on this day. So cool knowing Elliott Smith was playing a show during that day.
So cool, dude...🎉
Such an excellent concert! Such an excellent band! Such an excellent songwriter! Elliott you were so talented! Miss you.
this is my favourite version of bottle up and explode. i come back to it at least once a year.
I can't believe that this is posted...Thank you!! I was at this show. It was the only time I saw Elliott Smith, and I am so grateful to have been there. What an exceptional talent!
Thank you!!!🎉
Holy smokes--thanks for posting. All footage, recordings, etc. are very precious whatever the shortcomings in performance/technical stuff that folks have identified. Kicking my 2000 self retroactively for not having the good sense to be there.
U, that upload this, are a good human. Thank u. Larga vida a la música de este señor.
I waited so long for this
cupids trick is so badass

Damn, get we get a corrected/full res version of this yet??
i fucking love it..hands down great posting. i like beginnings and this guy rebooted weekly....
you know that's a genius adaption to addiction...more like a necessity but genuine and as painful as its read imagine for a second those shoes.harmony;;:?

is the sync messed up for anyone else?
Yes. The picture is one or 2 seconds late.
Bruno Bailly - I’m guessing it’s about 0.15 to 0.18 of a second off in the beginning but later it’s probably about 1.5 to 2 seconds off...
Would love it if someone could sync up the music with the video, but I have no idea how. This is such a great video. 👍
I just agree. It would be so amazing if it was in sync! Still cool video.
If only Elliot Smith was alive to hear Alex G's tunes. I think he'd appreciate it.
I was thinking the same thing. Alex G is fantastic and just a great guy to talk to after shows.
+eatpanda118 !!! It's cool too see an Elliott/Alex fan, I always think of them as being the same vein. Their approach to making music and total honesty is really similar. Yeah, I'd think he'd like Alex. He valued what was real.
Best friend I never met
goddamn - sooo good with a full band - (i didn't even know he existed when this concert happened)
dang. audio quality and fresh shampoo^^
i really love Figure 8 Album
Thank u! its quite amazin to see the difference between the electric and the acoustic Smith, who are the other musicians ?

How does Elliott do it..
I think I've seen it all but nope..
Rest easy , Elliott
Something altogether seems off here. Within the first seconds of seeing, before one note of music was played, the FIRST thing I thought was "wait a minute, is that even Elliott...this guy looks like an imposter..." Even 30 min in I still couldn't shake it. I'm sure I'm probably wrong but I never quite believed either. I mean, I hate to say it like this but...WHEN has Elliott EVER looked this healthy? Even a bit muscular? Idk...it will forever be a mystery...
Jody Carrithers Thought the same when I saw his clean hair LOL
Looks like Elliott Smith to me. Just sober.
It seems that Elliott changed a lot through his solo years. His hair isn't dyed black here and is quite long, so maybe that's what is throwing you off. The ironic thing here is that he was not very healthy during this particular time, and his drug problems arose only around a few months later. The "muscular" part you might be referring to could be his weight? It seems that he gained a little during this time but then again, I don't really know for sure. And he was actually sober often, but there are several instances where he was not, especially with drugs from 2001--early 2003.
no need to worry, i was there, it was an incredible show, and yea it was him.
That's him. I was at the show. I'm so happy that somebody posted the video.
Im sorry and Elliott is always amazing, but why do his back ground singers always suck?? lol
+SamuraiShampoo Guess hes not to bad on bled white but he wasnt great in junk bond at least
That's just how Quasi rolls. I agree but also feel that it has never once taken away from the music
I have the theory that because he was going through so much, he really liked having his buddy on tour with him. His lack of singing ability didn't matter as much as having his support.. also maybe he needed the money and Elliott wanted to help him out, him being such a nice, loving guy. It's not like Quasi was ever huge. I do wish he had a more talented all around band though, but that's selfish of me.
@@jontreeatreeify what was elliott going through? lol making money and being famous?
@@babyduck9217 Gee, I don't know... heroin addiction for one thing?
