I love the idea of an inexpensive beauty advent box, but I have allergies to a lot of plants that are commonly used in beauty products, and I saw at least a few things that I already know I wouldn't be able to use. I also think I can get similar stuff free with purchase by waiting till Ulta has a free beauty bag. I can't use a lot of that stuff either, but at least I didn't pay extra for it! I give my adult daughter everything I can't use. It works out. But I wouldn't want to pay money to give a lot away.
These calendars are better than so many I've seen...even super high end ones! These are products I would actually use!! And yes, I'd love to see how the Olay serum works for you!
But are people just using it on a regular basis as part of their beauty routine, or like normal eye drops when their eyes are irritated? Unless there’s something wrong like I have allergies I’m not necessarily worried about the whites of my eyes lol
The Lunify eye drops help brighten the whites of your eyes. I have never tried them. Some of the products in both boxes were definitely worth the price, and some were not so much.
I’ve been using the Pacifica face wash for almost 2 yrs and I really like it. The ingredients are great and it smells so good even though it doesn’t have added fragrance, it smells like an orange creamsicle!
Those eye drops are perfect and very expensive. Whitening strips are great! I think A on the first box. I'm 60 and I would use everything in it. I like the color of the new Creme Brulee'. I use Yerba Mate eye gel every day. I think they were both good for $20.
The nice thing about Lumify drops is that they don’t cause the rebound effect that other anti-red eye drops can and can safely be used every day. I’ve seen them recommended by beauty creators including Wayne Goss. I use them, but luckily don’t need them daily, because they are pricey. If I go out at night, I usually get red eyes just from dry eye and being tired. I can use those drops and not look tired.
@ I work in healthcare. I can tell you some people use drops like Visine every day, but Visine causes rebound and with frequent use your eyes end up redder than before.
@@tamrasmith1744 Yikes!! I meant moreso like from all the dismorphia people get from filters-- they see something that's not really there (ie thinking their natural eyes look "dull" in comparison) not so much people who need it for redness
The beauty calendar 😅😅😅with eyedrops, oil for doll ,paper stickers Omg it is joke😅😅Miranda i like your videos and appreciate you open them for us 🤗❤❤but i would better buy something myself what i like, even I LOVE watching advent calendars videos 🎉🎉🎉Hugs❤❤❤
Lumify is the best eye drop-they make your eyes super white-and refreshed... and they are spensive!pensive! I work for a eye doc. For 15 years they are my fav!! They market them as bridal and 📸 uses as well as rewetting!
I love Good Molecules! I usually get them on Amazon, though. Didn't know they could be considered drug store level! I think my favorite drugstore cleanser would be Cetaphil. Their foaming redness relief cleanser is the only thing I've been able to find that tones down the redness of my rosacea and doesn't irritate my skin. They also have a redness relief tinted moisturizer but I'm not too sure if it's a good match for me or not.
Love this, unfortunately doesn't ship to me. If you decide to do a giveaway of these I’ll for sure participate!!! And for me, eye drops definitely is a beauty product, I need them always or I look really ill (I have a sleep disorder). Lastly, but not least. Loved all the puns!
That totally makes sense about your eye drops, especially in relation to your sleep quality! I do fear that it's on the verge of a beauty trend that people who don't necessarily need them or think about the whites of their eyes suddenly see something "wrong" with them, if that makes sense!
@@slashedbeautyoh no, I hope people are not being judgy about that, we got enough with the unreal expectation of pearly white teeth, not now with the white in eyeballs :( Mine gets puffy and blurry, specially on rough nights when I get disrupted sleep.
Hello there, Miranda! I’m sorry that you spent your good money on the beauty calendar. I mean, eye drops and teeth whitening strips, really?!? LOL! 😂 I felt like I got taken on the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar at $220.00. Everything was true beauty items but mostly sample/travel sized. I was not very pleased, but oh well. The skincare calendar was not too bad, my opinion. I love CeraVe products, the Elf cleansing balm is pretty good, and I have not tried it but I have heard quite a few good things about the Olay serum (although it was so small). By the way, I am still questioning the color difference of the lip oil.😳 Advent calendars, I guess we win some and lose some, LOL. Luv ya girl!🙏🏻💕💕💕
I hate hate mini size products. I never buy them, I dont want them as a free with purchase, and I don’t want them in an advent calendar lol 😂 Most of the time the size is so small and useless. Those calendars didn’t look interesting to me at all lol. But I love your videos! lol!
The boxes were actually way better than I expected! Although that Bioderma sample just makes me mad. 😂👎🏻 An actual mini Bioderma would have added a lot to the box, so that's pretty lame.
@slashedbeauty so the drops are very brightening. You will be shocked the first time you use them. I don't use them everyday, but when my eyes are irritated or blood shot they are wonderful. Special occasions for sure!
Guess it’s not something I’ve ever considered as part of a beauty routine! Unless I’ve had a gummy, I’ve never worried about the whites of my eyes 😂 one more thing the beauty industry is targeting now lol
Is it just me or does anyone else think the No. 7 product should've been in the Day 7 window instead of Day 10??? And the Lumify drops used to be mentioned on beauty channels all the time. I've used them before and they are very whitening and nice. But they have a warning to not use with contacts so I stopped using...not sure why or if they just meant to not drop them in while contacts are in place but you can put contacts in afterward???
I guess I’ve never thought of the shade of white my eyes are unless they are irritated specifically- seems like one of those things that you don’t think about until someone says something is wrong with it.
This is an a+ box !! The eye drops and teeth strips are both for whitening which are beautifying and something that someone who cares about beauty might probably care about since they make things look better 🎉🎉🎉 I wish this wasn't sold out ❤ but I did get two others
My thoughts are you got gipped on the beauty calendar. I don't think the eye drops or the teeth whitening strips go in the beauty one but maybe in the skin care. But the skin care one was pretty good. It had lots of useful skin care products or related things. Thanks for doing this calendar opening for us.
I've noticed that when I use them they tend to dry my eyes out after a few hours. Living in FL I'm often dealing with red eyes from allergies, but I think I prefer Visine red eye drops.
horrible beauty calendar. shouldnt alot of those be in skincare box?? uh, what do i know? but i wouldnt be happy. How many actual Makeup products did you get?? thank you 😘 p.s. skincare atleast 75% better imo🎉
I think for newbies great!
For me... I thinknId just want to buy samples I really want and will use.
That makes sense and that’s pretty much my opinion as well!!
I used to use eyedrops to get the red out 👀 while getting ready for work after a late night out. Back in the day. 😂
Haha fair enough!! 🤣

100%. I didn't show it on camera anywhere but my Revolution advent calendar definitely ended up getting mostly given away 🙄

8:40 lumify is what people use in their eyes to make the white look whiter. Good product
But are people just using it on a regular basis as part of their beauty routine, or like normal eye drops when their eyes are irritated? Unless there’s something wrong like I have allergies I’m not necessarily worried about the whites of my eyes lol
I use it daily
My eyes are always red in the morning and my optometrist recommended them when I asked. 1 drop in each eye and 1 minute later they are so white!
The Lunify eye drops help brighten the whites of your eyes. I have never tried them. Some of the products in both boxes were definitely worth the price, and some were not so much.
Yes I guess I’ve never considered the shade of my eye whites before lol
The Elf cleansing balm has been my go to for several years. So good.
Once I'm done with my current balm jar I'll try it out!

Yes!! At least I consider Target level to be the same as drugstore level, as long as it's not in the Ulta section 😀
I use the elf cleansing balm love it I use byoma milky hydrating toner for skin barrier my skin loves it I use la roche posay
I cant wait to try the cleansing balm!
I love those whitening strips-and their mouthwash & toothpaste are amazing.
Definitely gonna try them out!
Thinking those advent calendars are not worth it. Thanks lots for your in depth reviews!
For $20 I think they’re at least decent but I think the skincare one was better!

the Milani lip stain in Bitten Berry!

The lumify eye drops whiten your eyes for a long time. It is fairly expensive as well.

Skin care box is more fun

lol thank you!! Yeah some of the travel sizes I think can be useful, but single-use mini and packets absolutely not!!
I miss the chocolate calendars you would get when we were kids.
You can still get those anywhere
Target also had a ton of those lol!
❤❤❤
Yes the lumify drops are the best and they are 20 bucks
This size is $12.99, they sell it as a small option! 😊
@@slashedbeauty lol I spoke to soon before the video ended didn't realize they came in dif sizes. I have bought 2 cleansing balms

I compleeeeetely agree!
They dropped the price of these to $10 each recently, and i think at that price, they are definitely worth it.
I’m seeing $15 right now with their black Friday deal!
