    Do you submit your evidence to the police? I hope so...

    So what? The car is stationary. Therefore the phone isn’t a distraction. What if he’s just changing the music at a safe moment?

      It isn’t safe, and it is illegal.

      @@laszloplook9599So is cycling down the middle of a road overtaking multiple cars.

      @@paulgollum1 Filtering is perfectly permissible, as you'd know if you'd bother reading your HWC
      You'd also know that any interaction with handheld devices is illegal when in control of a vehicle, including when the vehicle happens to be stationary
      I hope you get caught.

      @@truthteller99999 been driving for 47 years . Dont use a mobile in the car or van. Support Baroness McIntosh in her efforts to increase fines for cyclists who break the law. At the moment £30 for a cyclist jumping a red light ......this should go up @ £150

    Another self-righteous, sanctimonious Go-Pro devotee in need of a life. BTW, I'm pretty sure cyclists shouldn't be on the outside overtaking multiple cars. But, of course, I'm forgetting myself, the Highway Code doesn't apply to the lycra bores.

      If someone is on their phone at the wheel of a car van or whatever then its not the cyclists fault is it ? Wow, your comment speaks volumes, it really does. The law is the law but like so many people these days, they think its okay to do this that or the other so long as nobody is watching. I was caught for not wearing a seat belt years ago, got fined. It was my fault nobody else’s. Im sick of drivers getting away with all sorts on the roads. The more that get reported the better. We seem to have a big attitude problem in Britain in general towards rules and laws.

      @oddities-whatnot Wow, you presume an awful lot about me, pal. I criticised this cyclist because he goes out looking for confrontation. I'm both a driver and a cyclist, and there's bad on both sides. EQUALLY. There's no end of cyclists who seem to think one way streets, pedestrian crossings, no entry, traffic lights, cycling on pavements etc doesn't apply to them. BTW, I've held a full driving licence for 47 years - clean as a whistle, never had a point on the licence. Try some anger management - it may help with your rants.

      The HWC explicitly allows filtering in traffic, as you'd know if you'd bothered to read it.
      It also clearly states that use of mobiles when in control of a vehicle is not acceptable, and in direct contravention of the law, including when you are stationary
      So actually it seems that you believe the HWC and the law doesn't apply to you.

    • @paulgollum1
      @paulgollum1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @bestbehave Go preach the HWC to the plethora of cyclists who ignore traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, one-way streets, no entry, two abreast, no lights etc etc. I'm sure they'd appreciate your sanctimonious, self-righteousness.

    • @bestbehave
      @bestbehave 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@paulgollum1 Happy to, on the relevant video.
      Apart from the 2 abreast bit - that's perfectly acceptable in the HWC - As you'd know too if you'd ever read it.
      Here though we are talking about your defence of someone breaking the law and driving badly - by , er, preaching the HWC
      You see if you are going to whine about people not following the HWC, it's best if you actually know it. Otherwise _your_ sanctimonious self righteousness comes with a side order of hypocrisy.
      I hope you get caught
