I've never layed eyes upon the author. But it's clear to see he's layed his hands on me. My life story may not be the world's best seller . But they want have to read between the lines to see. Praise God for Jesus.
My favorite song of all time! Found this song recently and immediately fell in love with Brian's voice. I love to write. I have a past of childhood (aprx 9yrs old) abuse and I still struggle (62yr old) with confidence. I've neve published any of my work but I know that God authored my life's story and realize that He is in control. In my weakness He is strong! (Learning that as we speak.) Thanks Brian for singing this. I listen to you quite often and enjoy each song. Keep singing. You are a blessing.
It's just amazing how God can use a person Brian Free drove a forklift for Coca-Cola Company before he got in to Southern gospel music no matter where you're at God knows the heart if he can pick a person like Brian and taking away from the Coca-Cola Company everybody knows besides Jay parrack he has one of the best tenor voices in southern gospel music the Brian has paid his dues he's gotten voice lessons crafted his art very well what amazing tenor voice
I seen the Kingsmen in 1991-1992 in Branson Mo at silver dollar city . It was just a year or two before Brian Free left the Kingsmen . I think Brian Free is one of the best tenors I have heard

How old was Brian Free 1986
Jesus bleed and died a horrible death so we could be saved. Jesus is more than worthy to be praised.
The Lamb that died on a hill called mountain Calvary stood a old rugged cross where Jesus died
I'm looking for sheet music for this song. Does anyone have a suggestion? I can't seem to find it.
Hi Natalie I have the lyrics for Once upon a Hill
Once Upon a Hil - Gold City lyrics
somebody wrote my life story
though the ink never touched
the writers quill
now in heaven
i’ll live happy life everafter
cause my life’s story started
once upon a hill
once upon a hill is all it took
forbidden chains
my hearts been changed
my lifes an open book
it’s never been a mystery
how a fiction became real
cause my life’s story started
once upon a hill
i never laid eyes
upon the author
but it’s clear to see
he’s laid his hand on me
my life’s story may not be
the worlds best seller
but they won’t have to read
between the lines to see
once upon a hill is all it took
forbidden chains
my hearts been changed
my lifes an open book
it’s never been a mystery
how a fiction became real
cause my life’s story started
once upon a hill
it’s never been a mystery
how a fiction became real
cause my life’s story started
once upon a hill
cause my life’s story started
once upon a hill
written by Ronnie Henson maybe you can get it from them
He said he was not a christian, for awhile with gold city
I would rather here Ivan Parker sing
Free would have a great tenor voice of he could get rid of the nasal sound.
I believe Brian has the best voice ever
