I think what this shows me is that the execution for T.Hawk's stuff is really hard, even for the best players. Justin was jumping out of setups all the time when theoretically that shouldn't be possible. also I think the random jump backs after knockdowns might mis-input dives?

I was so pissed that I was loosing to the best kid on the block (he was 16), we called him Piano Keys, because he played the arcade controls like he played his grand piano.. So, I threw him due to not being able to get him, & he called "throwbacks", I was pissed & said - "NO!" He said, "oh ya", & went absolutely batshit on my Ryu with his Cyclops; we were playin' Street Fighter vs X-men. He kept doing air combos & wouldn't let me hit the floor; he brutally beat me, & chuckled, then he gave me a quarter to play him again. He was insanely good, best player that I have ever seen - air combos galore. I never saw him loose a match to anyone of any age playin' either *Street Fighter vs X-men, X-Men vs Marvel, & Marvel vs Capcom,* when they 1st came out in the arcades back in my daze of a youth.
Random question, but has there been another character in the Street Fighter universe whose appearance permanently changed from wounds like Sagat? Ryu's DP left the huge scar which is pretty brutal for a franchise that is usually more lighthearted.
Vega (Claw) is almost impossible to beat in competitive play. His mobility is game breaking. It has taken many years for gamers to work this out because the paradigm encouraged 'fair' competitive play using amazing combos at the highest levels. Claw's dominant winning strategy is antagonising to play against and a bit boring to watch.

O gat has one of the fastest jumps in this game as well for some reason which makes tick throws even harder on him. It makes no sense why he would have that. Also, let me know when you fight the best Dhalsim in Japan so the match up is completely lopsided in o gat's favor 😄

I wish i could play t hawk. Ever since i was a kid t hawk and vega always interested me. I didnt learn how to do 360s until sfv so i havent been able to play t hawk since he isnt in the newer games (i do play lily)
But then there's also the fact that the games have been making the input window more accessible since SF2. That was just the first game and it has some rough details like Hawk lacking a grab whiff animation, which was given to Zangief in SSF2T.

The jump back is most likely a missed Condor Dive. The jump back to get a specific angle for the right range, but then the game gets finicky and denies you the dive.
