    I’m a trained spotter and hobby chaser. Did you hear that thing roar?? I’ve grown weary of hearing that they sound like freight trains. They do not. They sound like what they are; giant wind tunnels and the more powerful ones roar. You heard both on this video.

      Uh...have you ever had one "on top of " you!!?? I have....until you do please dont say it doesn't sound like a train...

      They tend to sound more like trains in urban settings (more debris) and they sound like a B1 bomber out in rural areas...Just from my experience.

      @@michaelwthalmanThat makes sense. I definitely heard the train sound experiencing a tornado while living in Miami.

      @@Amariiiiie What is really interesting to me is they can produce infrasound in the .5-10HZ range which we cannot hear, but wideband receivers can and often at very long ranges and even before the tornado occurs. So it could be very possible in the future to have an array of listening devices placed in areas with the capabilities to detect a storm before a tornado is even produced. Which could give folks an even earlier warning heads up.

    This was a very bad tornado, but it wasn’t a wedge tornado. It was much taller than it was wide.

      Drove over to the adjacent neighborhood, which was affected pretty badly. Thankfully where I was it was just high end ef-2 damage, so nobody was injured.

    your best bet in a tornado is watch the direction it is heading and if not heading your way go in anyway cause the lightning will strike all around in that storm and can last long after the storm is past. If it is coming at you and do not have a shelter it might be best to leave and retreat away from the path. Even if it is a block over as long as you are not in the path of it. Just like Joplin and Moore Oklahoma If you did not leave chances are you would have been killed specially if you can't get underground. And if that was a wedge you are good as dead without being underground those sweep the pad clean or foundation.

      I did not go help those people. Instead, I went back inside and put on my Authentic Mexican Wrestling Mask and cooked ramen while drunk, then posted it on youtube.

      You can see the tornado around the :40 mark and beyond. The funnel itself is within the sheets of rain. You can also clearly hear it.

    The average tornado only moves at 10-20 mph; why not get in a car and get the fk out of there?

    • @wolfandhoundh.a.e
      @wolfandhoundh.a.e 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably because tornadoes can fluctuate in their speed and they usually don't follow a straight trajectory.. if you want to get yourself killed then by all means but don't suggest other people should..

    • @-star_27-20
      @-star_27-20 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      The average person doesn’t know where to go to get out of its path. Also if everyone did that, it would create traffic and slow everyone down. Also downed trees could block people’s path. It’s just not a good idea for everyone to drive away from it.

      @@-star_27-20 I don't have a basement, so let's see; I can see a tornado coming at me, and I can see what direction it's coming from and where it's headed. I can get in my car and go the other direction, or I can stay on the first floor of my wood-framed house and hope for the best. Nope, gonna get in the car and drive away
