I feel sorry that the ride turned sour due to the food that u brought along which angered the driver. He may hav his own problems to be rude which was not right to begin with. I appreciate u being a gentleman for not escalating the situation n yet showed compassion. i abhour all types of violent behaviour n what he did doesnt reflect what Malaysians r known for. Anywhere do take extra care & God bless!!!

I've never experienced this before but I've experienced super cold drivers. They wouldn't smile even when I smiled first and tried being friendly. They just answered with "emmm".

you should make a complaint to GRAB on this particular driver. we do not want rude drivers which would ruin the country's image. it was unfortunate that you got that particular driver. Not all of them behaves like that.

Sorry you had such an awful experience! But you handled it well! That driver obviously has some issues going on, but that's no excuse to treat customers that way. It's good he came to his senses in the end and apologised.

I always seal my food perfectly when get into a public transport. It's not because bad smell, it's because strong smell will affect another passenger who ride with me or after me. The smell will remain even after I leave & get onto seat fabric. Of course next passenger will complain the driver because of the smell.
I always keep my toll card charged at least for a hundred KM drive.

What kind of nasi goreng was it? Is it with belacan because that is a strong smell that some people may not like...

If the grab driver could smell the food, then the next passenger would also likely to smell the odour and may complaint about that. THat grab driver may get suspended because of you.
    Please be reasonable. Tq.

We're not talking about the food but the character of the driver towards the situation and how embarrassing it was, put yourself in the shoe of the victim (the passengers in this case). The food smell wasn't anyone's fault, and as a driver I believe he can use an air freshener spray or something to spray the car. By the way, as we moved the food smell reduced drastically but he just decided to punish us unnecessarily. Did you also see it from that level? Please don't justify wrong attitude. Thanks

from the few experiences i had with e-hailing drivers, i had good and friendly conversations with them. the only bad experience i had was with a grab driver in KL for being rude to me because i was off a bit from my location in the app and he had to make a uturn. he kept mumbling until i said i will pay him a bit extra and he got quiet. and he is of the other race than me. i'm not racist but there you go...

If it’s GRAB, then don’t hesitate to file a complaint! GRAB is very strict with their drivers. Don’t just do video without file a complaint please 🙏🏻

I would report the driver to Grab. This kind of behavior is uncalled for. Imagine for your friend, new in Malaysia and has to face this kind of disgusting person.

If every negative experience can be explained by "it's cuz I'm blec", then let me ask you this, you think other groups of foreigners don't have any struggles?

This is the thing that I exactly hate the youtubers when they encountered something terrible. You see, to write "Malaysian Grab driver" carries a negative sentiment towards Malaysians in general associated with the whole episode. Just say "A grab driver treated me badly". That's totally understandable because that's universal. It applies to the whole world. You're just being there at the wrong moment, nothing to do with Malaysia. Haiyah....

Doesn't matter what race, the view on Africa is all the same. Let's not act like if it was another race, the view is different, the whole world has basically the same view of Africa.

@@imjuzsayin..5017 I think you never use grab before. There are number of time where I have an foreign immigrant become my grab drivers and I do the report.and no action taken. Grab just don't care .
