The guitar riffs dont break your speakers. They're there to grab your attention so you remove the disk before TRACK1 (what actually might break your speakers) plays.
Fun fact: The Emergency Alert System (EAS) uses the same technique but the first sound you hear contains data for the alert similar to Track 1 if you play a Dreamcast Game Disc. He second sound is the official siren to grab your attention.
yeah i'm pretty sure the guitar riffs are actually pretty quiet
The guitar riffs make me imagine some 90's surfer dude saying something like, "Putting a Sega CD disk in a CD player is not radical dude!"
What happened after that event:
Lisa: WHY YOU INTERRUPTED ME WHILE I WAS RECORDING THE WARNING MESSAGE FOR SEGA CD?! Sam: I Just wanted them to try to do the guitar solo like me!
Lisa: I'MMA *WHOOP YOUR ASS!*
Sam: OK SORRY!!
Sonic CD actually allows you to put it in a CD player for listening to its music.
And Sonic R also
Also Puyo Puyo~n
@@BossVideo505 oh wait fr?
I wonder why?
Is it cause Sonic CD has multiple tracks of music?
@@FrankieSonic20yeah it does the files of these games when you dump them have multiple track files which can be played to listen to music I know Radiant Silvergun uses the audio tracks for the story’s cutscenes and Both Thunder Force V and Hyper Dual can play the game’s music
-Son, are you listening to the CD-ROM game's Track 1 on a CD Player again?
-Dad, it's called breakbeat!!
Now that you say it, breakbeat sounds quite a lot like that...
I'm surprised but also not surprised that Kerry King was behind the guitar on the warning track since Slayer's songs always have some pretty weird guitar sounds lol
I’m gonna go swim in mercury now
The planet?
@@gabrielmanzano_fitness5859 nope, the substance
ok when will you be back?
@@zakkarcher I've been back for quite a while
thank you for modifying the sound so it wont break my headphones, may both sides of your pillow will be cold.
You have given the biggest blessing of them all. What a chad
If that's an AUX feed, surprisingly that example you played does actually have sped up (if not slightly corrupted) audio data that is being interpreted as such. Mostly sound effect samples and whatever speech samples were present in Track 1.
yeah, it kinda alternates from what sounds like sped up corrupted green hill zone music to some kind of dialogue for the game
Just want to say that the text moves too fast for the reader to catch up.
Apologies. I've made sure in future videos to slow it down.
you could just pause to read but ok...
@@nil8659 agreed, that’s what I did
1:23 Dude release this in full this is fire
the fact that a thrash metal guitarist made THOSE SCARY AF guitar riffs FOR A SEGA DREAMCAST really caught me off guard. Like what the heck! But then i remember Kerry King is from Slayer.
That was the Sega CD. not Dreamcast. The Dreamcast warning didn't have the scary guitar riffs.
Damn the CD-ROM sounds actually good
Actually, Nintendo kept cartridges for the N64 also because at that time loadings in CD games could be very long. Cartridges do have instant access and huge bandwith associated to them, hence the higher price to produced them compared to CD (which is far more simple to make).
Thank you for this!
1:23 imagine putting this audio in a video with meme effects and sounds.
1:37
"I see Senoah, he's sus!"
*STOLEN COMMENT FROM A DIFFERENT VIDEO*
100 Gecs be like: 1:23
why does this warning actually go hard 💀
I get the chills from these sounds LOL
You should do this in real life but in a spot where its all safe
This is actually quite similar to those (Whatever it is) converted to raw audio and video TH-cam videos out there, due that the CD player plays the CD-ROM as the raw data how it sounds like.
how could your data be corrupted it's normally stored on a VMU SEPPERATE FROM THE DANG DIS- a error has occured and the dreamcast browser must restart.
Is it me or duing that track 1 content why on sertian parts some pitcher voice says "I see Senoah hes SUS"
In Sega CD I heard
“This is sonic I’m Sonic You Suck! HoyHoyYumBoyBoy? (x*INFINITY SYMBOL HERE)”
Haha
Just sounds like a really bad youtube poop
This is scary I might have nightmares from this
1:23
Track 1 made me laugh so hard until i died
Edit: i mean come on he sus
The guitar riffs breaking the speakers is a urban legend, it cannot break your speakers
Yeah that's right. The guitar riffs are on track 2 whereas the game data on track 1 is what breaks the speakers.
1:25 fnf fans: THIS IS SO FIRE!!!
I never knew that some PS1 discs have warnings like this when out in a CD Player, as I was only aware of the Sega CD, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast's warnings.
And jeez Sony, thanks for knowing how smart I am to not play track 1.
This makes me feel very uncomfortable : 1:23
It can be a little daunting but I find it entertaining
What game does track 1 come from? Also, what does the GD rom error of bloodied sonic look like?
Track 1 comes with all SEGA GD Rom games. Also the GD Rom error of bloodied Sonic is not real.
Geometry dash rom
The bloodied Sonic may look like Sonic after a boxing match with bruises and blood all over him, thats what I thing from the description.

why does this have to happen?
AYO 👀
Sus amogus
1:24 me core
Don't put the Sega Saturn Disc of Megaman X4 into your CD Player, please.
It's come to the conclusion that playing it just plays the background music of the game on the CD player
0:23 Nice Guitar Playing here! I bet the woman who recorded this warning has beaten the guy/woman who disturbed her with the guitar solo.
PS. Have a relaxing vacation!
Kerry King was the Slayer founder and the guitarist, he’s a very proud male
Oh nvm
1:24 RIP Headphones Users
1:31 😂😂😂
track 1 sounds like a badly edited timelapse
DANG! track 1 goes hard!!
Track 1 sounds like the Skrillex Songs that were unreleased.
😂😂😂 its funny
1:23 somebody please let this be meme material 😂
My mind has successfully saved this and now I'm gonna go swim in lava
The previous generation did the same thing by putting computer data cassettes in audio cassette players.
but why do Sega say it will damage the audio sound when it doesn’t mmm idk why
It depends on the build of the speaker (how old, volume)
ok
1:23 why tf are there chipmunks screaming into a deepfried microphone while smashing pianos thinking they are the best band in the world?
1:23 When you get a heart attack
Great! I enjoyed it pretty underrated
Binary Audio
0:10 tho I have a question about that
imagine this being in a horror game
what about track 3
Strange, what the hell track 1 says man?
Track 1 is a CD player attempting to read Game Data which glitches.
@@RetroCom man but in this part: 1:27 he said something i slowed down but i can hear anything because the app i use to slow things dont have slowed to much to me hear it
Ah, well that isn't by me. I found it by someone doing it online. I'm assuming it's the audio files featured in the Game's data. Not sure which game.
@@RetroCom and yeah i still hear nothing but this is actully a music, well i have one of those sonic cd disk and i played in a cd player and i hear nothing that is in the video and i have slowed the thing much more and i have its only a strange music with guitars etc
I think how the person format it was differently. They put the game file in Audacity and tried to play it as Audio.
0:22
1:23 i had the idea to slow that part and i could hear some voicelines
what game u used?
(i heard something like: YOU RE NICE,
YEAH, YES)
This was someone else's audio sample
the Yeah and Yes samples might be extremely high pitched samples of Sonic's voicelines in Sonic CD. the yes sample plays when Sonic gets an extra life, the yeah sample is probably an unused sample for the same reason as the yes sample

Um... Excuse me but can you prove to me that the guitar riffs that played on the Sega CD warning are played by Kerry King?
Hey there! This video was made a while back. Unfortunately this was really wording passed around on Sega CD videos, and I have tried googling but haven't found such information proving this. Sorry.
aight imma commit despacito now, bye
Most PS1 games actually have the games soundtrack on them. The original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater & Grand Theft Auto as well as The New Tetris are amongst them.
Track one sounded like rather Alvin and the chipmunks, or sped up footage of a game on a scratched disk 💀💀💀💀
G e e D e e R o m .
I had a ps1, my ps1 disc didn't have that warning when i played it in my cd player, and fun-fact my ps1 used to play Game discs as CD tracks opening the player screen, and i never heard such a thing, was it only for original discs? Cuz I had the 🏴☠️ ones (and some original like Sailor moon or Formula 1)
I put a ps1 game in a cd player once, it played the games audio (this was a ps1 game that had cd audio)

I do. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slayer I could try to find others if Wikipedia isn't your go-to.
