Nice work, Nick. This is a unique mechanic to DCC, so I'm always happy to see content creators give it a spotlight for the new reavers, cutpurses, androids and manaimals coming to our beloved system.
For all the games of DCC I've played (and I've played atleast 3 Clerics) disapproval continues to be one of the things I struggle with the most. Low levels of disapproval seem to most cost short increments of time, high levels of disapproval seem to have huge costs. It seems to me that disapproval works best mechanically when there is urgency in the adventure or task at hand. On any kind of basic slow moving exploration it barely seems relevant.
@@worlds-in-conflict I have to admit, early on I did not fully understand Disapproval, and I think it would have had much greater impact in our games if I had been more knowledgeable and deliberate about adjudicating it. I've seen it climb to 5 or 6 in a single evening of play, but never knew until today that the player would be rolling 5d4 or 6d4 on the Disapproval chart. That would affect quite a bit, and in campaign play, could prompt an epic quest to undue the deity's wrath. Basically, I think I need to play it right finally and see how it affects things. But I like it in theory.

Thanks Not Tim! I appreciate you.

I like the overall idea but the impact seems minimal at low levels.
