- This is the story of my grandmother, Ruth. Ruth is 1 of 5.3 million Americans suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Her disease has progressed to the point where she cannot remember her daughter Holly's name. Music seems to bring moments of clarity. Music is Memory. Music is Hope. Grand Prize Winner of the HOPE Film Festival.
Amazing. I'm lost for words.
At the very end, when she said "yours is Holly". That got me.
This is beautiful. Music is truly gift of God
Her eyes lit up like a thousand suns. Absolutely beautiful.
Amazing and touching ❤🥰
This is wonderful, everything about her changed after she heard the music, her speech pattern and the physical appearance of her face. God Bless you and your work and your Mom.
They come back. For a brief time they come back. They follow the notes like stepping stones to who they once were. It's incredibly moving to watch these transformations. ❤️❤️
very wholesome
this is why i love music
God bless you, Holly for your beloved grandmother, Ruth, powerful music!
Heartbreaking yet Heartwarming
Beautiful film! Absolutely heartwarming.
Ok😙😙👒👠👡💜💟💞💗👌👍👍👍👍👍💋💋💋
I’m going through this at the moment but I’m 5000 miles away in Canada from my mum in Ireland, and it’s breaking my heart if only my sister would let our mother listen to Dame Vera Lynn sing The White Cliffs Off Dover. My mum would come back to us for a few minutes
Why not ask her to and video call..? I hope you are still able to... I feel your pain.
Fantastic! Thank you ..🙏❤
…the song remembers when. 😔
