This guy.. cant tell you how much I miss him! There is no similar striker out there today! He is the full package: no nonsense mentality, great touch, dribbling, pace, strength, tall, good in the air, poacher, long shot taker, really you name it and he has it! You can play counter attacks with him, hold up play, positional play, EVERYTHING! Only one weakness, injury prone unfortunately. If he wasnt injured that season he would have scored 35 goals in the PL easily. He was better than Haaland or any other striker you can think of nowadays.

Many things what i love about Diego. first, he is physically a monster, second, he have deadly finishing, and last he is surprisingly fast for this kind of striker..
3 seasons in the blue shirt 2 league titles , he was a warrior never gave up, scored all sorts of goals.
The thing that made Diego Costa legendary at Chelsea is that he wanted the smoke. A striker that relished being physical and never hid nor ran from adverse conditions.(On The Pitch, lol)

Completely agree, any time I think of Costa I think of that West Brom goal and to a lesser extent the arsenal one. The West Brom goal was iconic
I was at this game and no one saw it coming at all. He can make something out of nothing and that's truly the signs of a world-class striker.
