this just happened to me and i caught it right away. still need to inspect the motor for damage etc. was your motor ok? hoping i didnt spin a bearing etc. 2016 with 19k miles. hard miles though its a built heads cam car 14:1 compression lol. I should have gone with a katech prrobably.
Happened to me TWICE! First time DIC message, turned it off right away, second time pressure was all over place, so i knew! Shut it down. 2x, inspected, no damage, new bearings, seals etc and its back. Seems to have been *fixed*. GM even went so far as to extended powertrain warranty to 8yr / 80K miles if I am not mistaken.
Sorry to know what you are going through! I hope the engine wasnt damaged, Which pump have you used for replacement?
Repairs were carried out by dealer under warranty, so OEM GM pump was used.

Mine went out also in a 2022 ZL1 1le. Motor locked up .
Sorry to hear - you'd figure after 5 generation of this engine they would have at LEAST oil pump figured out. :(
Strange 2022 model and its still happening. I hope this was covered with warranty
