I wouldn't have really had a problem with it if it actually was a shot. If your roster is so decent for so long, then how many chances does a coach get to make it work without playoff success until you change something up? Moving off a coach is risky but so is being stagnant with a good roster. Suddenly you aren't even playing great in the regular season, that's risky to follow through on. I'm beginning to feel that way about Cincinnati. Yeah they made a Superbowl early and can still explode on offense but how many years are they gonna start sub 500 in the opening half, and make stupid 4th quarter decisions that don't hold up against great teams? The roster is a contender and they can't pick up a wildcard spot, might as well mix it up if you're not in position anyways
