- This is a comparison between the teaser trailers of Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta 3. I left some spaces in blank to sync and match the similar scenes to each other, given that all 3 teasers have different lenghts. Notice how she defeats the enemy in the first one, gets an evenly disputed fight in the second one and seems to be defeated and bisected in the third one.

Logan Y That is correct. The names of the guns in the third teaser are the ones used in the Funimation Bayonetta film.

Though I like the joking tone of the games I think a dark/serious tone for the 3rd one with her being knocked down and actually having a hard time would be cool for character development

THe second one had a more dramatic tone to it, she was worried for Jeaanne and also in a rush to save her, so she was way more serious than she was in the first game.

Theory: “Bayonetta” in Bayonetta 3 is actually her other self: (I’m going to refer to her as Cereza, but I realise that they are the same person) Cereza. Little Cereza from the first game was placed back into her time at the end, but not before Balder places her inside of him WHILE he has Loptr inside him, too. Cereza grows up to be brave and strong, wearing the same things as she had done in an alternate timeline, but a part of Loptr lies within her after Balder combined their bodies in the first game
Kuinzu OHHHHHHHHHH this makes a lot of sense??? Like Loptr DID go into Balder and from the second to final battle in the first game, Cerezita indeed was placed into him as well. Maybe he shed more of his soul into her and creates ANOTHER timeline. Great theory!
Le Petit Gremlin Exactly! She’s in trouble in another timeline. Remember when Cereza activated the left eye which ALSO activated the left eye in Bayonetta’s timeline? Well if Cereza is killed in her timeline, Bayonetta herself may have consequences on her timeline. Maybe they team up in the end omg how cool would that be? Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 fight together!

Le Petit Gremlin Since Jubileus is an angel (more specifically a “Dea”) I doubt two witches would be able to summon them, its probably gonna be very powerful, so powerful that it takes two of almost the exact same person to do it

i think you got right. Bayonetta 3´s theme color seems to be purple. Bayo1 was red and Bayo2 was blue. red with blue makes purple.
What if someone tries to kill Bayonetta(little Cereza) and Bayonetta(we all know) is going to stop that and save her ?

I feel like this is Bloody Fate Bayonetta, and there's an inter-dimensional entity who's going through all the timelines and Universes that Cereza is born in and murdering her before she can intervene with whatever they are planning.
