Loving the Clash you showed fun fact on Sandanista Topper explained in an interview that the reason it was a three record set was that the Clash wanted to make sure you got value for your purchase. The feeling's mutual, Luke. I finally feel in love in Sandanista a few months ago and now that you told me about the "bargain" they offered I love it all the more. I should have never thought of it as "London Calling Part Two" but I did. Once I saw it as it's own thing it became a favorite album. So glad you got to see them. Wow what a treat. I to suffer from insomnia Gavin. Wow you have some great stuff there. Bowie was certainly a man ahead of his time. When I was a teen I had Young Americans on LP, 8 track, later cassette and now cd. Certainly one of my favorite albums of all time. Did you know that the song "Golden Years" was written for Elvis! Bowie received a letter from Elvis's company that they would not be interested. Bowie later found out that Elvis was never given the demo to listen to. Imagine Elvis singing that......Great stuff as always my friend. No better way to start a Sunday morning than with one of your videos! Keep on keeping on Bro!!!! Wow 1st comment!!

You can get it at CVS/Walgreens/Kroger (vitamin sections). I usually only take one and see how it goes…however, for me, the next morning feels like I took Benedryl, so you may or may not have that happen. Also, sometimes melatonin wakes people up, meaning it has the opposite effect, but I don't believe that's typical. Also, maybe even better, is taking a warm bath with Epsom Salt (again, at Walgreens/Kroger/etc). Just be sure it's non-scented. Kroger has it for about $2-$3 for 4 lbs of it. Just measure out about 2-3 cups (I like to use half a bag per bath because I'm crazy LOL) into a warm bath and hangout for (you can even just soak your feet if you don't have a tub or don't like baths) for about 20 minutes; preferably as close to bedtime as possible. Epsom salt is magnesium and will relax you and often for me, clears my mind of stress (because I'm so relaxed that I really can't worry) and helps me sleep. You could also try washing your sheets the day after you have bad insomnia; I NEVER sleep as well as when I change my sheets! Maybe that will help! -Ambie
Those recent Bowie reissues sound really good. I think it is rediculous that they can't put all the songs from the US and UK Clash album on a CD. Sandinista is the one Clash album that I don't have on vinyl. I had it but when I divorced we split the albums. I liked the album but I always felt it would have been better as a double album. I love The smiths. I did a Smiths video quite awhile ago. Check it out if you have the time. The video is not HD but I stand by my take on the band.
