A great video, helpful and easy to follow. Nice slow step by step to start as you talk through it, then speed up to a more natural pace, and I appreciate that you added some live throws at the end versus your older videos where you didn't.
As a "senior" I've had a long time to work on bad habits, which I'm (thanks to you) working to correct. How do I best work on the very important throwing accuracy? Throw into a net? Thanks and please keep up the videos!
What I can't seem to get is the arm mechanics; some players seem to be able to throw the ball so that it almost seems level and hisses as it goes by. I've never been able to do that. Am I too rigid? I can confidently bench 225, so I don't think it's a strength thing... my technique is clearly lacking.
@@SnapSoftball Your video says I need to "get bigger and stronger" and "need to be in the weight room at least nine months out of the year" ;p th-cam.com/users/shortsY8EftrhBJ14
@@SnapSoftball darn coach, I just started to teach my 10u and 12u kids crow hops for OF and now it seems to be out of fashion. Alrighty, cross-over behind it is then.

Thank you for all you do. I know I appreciate it so much and I'm sure others do too.
You are so welcome

Throwing more from all different types of distances and directions - the type of target doesnt so much matter (net or a partner is fine)
Why behind instead of in front? I've seen both, so just curious on your take.
behind sets your chest faster - stepping in front allows players to easily land with their chest facing forward, which is very bad
So is the crow hop old school?
no MLB outfielders do the crow hop anymore.
We teach a “jab step” with the foot in front instead of behind. Is there a difference?
I read the comment below after I asked the question. Thanks

Bench press matters zero
@@SnapSoftball I meant it more to say that I'm in decent shape
also doesnt really matter at all
@@SnapSoftball I agree! Like I said, "my technique is clearly lacking." . Any advice or recommended drills/videos/studies?

No.
