I was a lifeguard in aquatica San Antonio in 2016, it was the best memory in my life, your video makes me recall my life as a life guard over there, hope I can have chance to go back again.
I have a question hope you could answer! For Big Surf Shores (wave pool) Why is the rope far back than it normally was when Aquatica first opened? And do lifeguards change the wave type/pattern?
This is my third favorite waterpark, behind the other Aquatica waterparks in San Diego (2nd best) and Orlando (best). Walhalla Wave is my favorite, followed by Stingray Falls, but that was before Ihu's Breakaway Falls and Taumata Racer opened, so that could change next time I go there (whenever that will be. I think a water coaster would be another great addition to the park (perhaps somewhere near Loggerhead Lane would be a good spot) and Aquatica San Diego would be another place to add one as well.
The ways I look at it, Aquatica San Diego has more rides than San Antonio does and San Antonio's version of Walkabout Waters doesn't have any slides where as the one in San Diego does. However, San Antonio is definitely getting more rides to take up the available space it has, like with the recent additions of Tamauta Racer and Ihu's Breakaway Falls. Aquatics San Diego really needs something new, but I think we'll get something within the next couple years.
Two questions. First, are why did they remove the birds from the lazy river? Second, are you saying Ihu's Breakaway Falls is actually taller than the Rohr and Cliffhanger slides at Schlitterbahn in Galveston Island, Bahamas Blaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and Der Stuka/Dive Bomber at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Arlington?
I don't know why the birds got taken out, but my guess is it was either safety or cost related. Sea World claims Ihus Breakaway Falls is taller than those rides. I cannot independently verify that.
Cool video but I probably would've subscribed if you would show off what its actually like to get on the slides instead explaining it. Nonetheless however, good video!
Very underwhelmed by this park. Way over crowded. Wave pool was Tiny and kind of hard to navigate. Probably my least favorite water park I have been to. Spent an hour and half and called it a day.
bad service. Fell from a slide and broke my neck and legs. Im homeless too, so they give me free food too. Food is bussin too lmfao and i get it for free

Mitchell Ries I have to disagree. This one is better than San Diego But Orlando is the best.
