Yes, i think arteta knows wenger days are numbered when he leaves to become pep assistant in 2016, so in 3.5 years he learnt everything from pep and his intention is only 1 which is to come and help arsenal to glory, but we know in that 3.5 years arsenal is live in the mud and when he take the job, he inherited an ageing, dispirited squad which is not easy for novice manager like him to handle, but we can see what is he building after 2.5 years already bear fruit, he brings back the soul that have left at highbury, what a manager...

@johntuitionsg Pep said it was only with Arsenal that he didn't celebrate. I think his heart was always with Arsenal, so although he was at Everton longer his heart wasn't there the way it is with Arsenal.

I remember even back when he was beating our arses in those Arsenal vs. Barcelona CL knockout ties he always expressed his appreciation for Wenger and Arsenal and what they've done for the sport and English football. It's great to see that another generation later, that energy and progression of footballing lineage has come back to us in the form of Arteta, who's more or less like the lovechild of Wenger and Pep in both managerial style and personality

For someone like Pep to have a convo with someone and within 15 mins recognize talent so great that even he can learn from it! Arteta is clearly special, Arsenal are lucky to have him.

Arsenal is truly blessed with coaches that want to be a part and dedicate wholeheartedly. More than anyone the fans should be grateful for that.
It still aches to recall the final days of Arsène. I hope one day when Arteta leaves, the man will leave with grace.

This 2 manager u can hear their interview even u r not the fans. Total amount of respect. The brilliant answer. The vision of the answer. The calmness. Not like Klopp. He is good manager but sometimes his answer is low class answer. Sometimes n not all the time.

The fact that he stills sees Barca as his club warms my heart, that generation will always remain truly special for the people involved. I think the board definetly ruined relationships with alot of players but under different circumstances majority of them until Leo left would go back there because as Pep put it... its their club.

The thing I love about pep is how exciting he makes football. He's not the perfect manager because there is no such thing, but the style of football and the performances that we have witnessed over his career have most certainly left a mark in footballs history and have definitely played a part in keeping my personal interest in football. Even when i'm not a City fan, i seem to find myself watching the majority of their fixtures, purely because i know im going to witness ruthless attacking football.
