@@streetdreamz8056 Yessir, that was me. You remembered! I've come along way since then but I'm still learning and learn something everyday. I'm very comfortable now with the clutch. My Ninja 636 is still in the shop like I mentioned but for now I ride around in an SV650 and a V-Strom 650 which are a lot of fun. I still need to practice low speed maneuvering/turns and such as that's still something that I badly need improvement on. Ride safe bro!
Nice...i just got a 2016 ZX6R KRT Edition and i was trying to see what shift ranges were being used on this bike. I have always used the sound/speed of the bikes to determine the gear. So far i am loving this bike. Ride safe.
yeah shift ranges is all about the type of rider you want to be.. they change based on that but if you just want to chill and enjoy the ride.. this style is perfect for you. thanks for watching and you be safe too💯🤙🏽
thanks man!! i just got an 05 kawasaki too, first time rider. This video was definitely helpful. I know how to drive manual so I know I can do this, the rpms are what matters like you said. Thanks for this again! Ride safe brother.
Oh yeahh. alls it will take is to build up the muscle memory of the controls or your bike and i gurantee youll be good. The understanding of how a clutch works is key. with the car knowledge your ahead just be safe bro. thanks for watching🙏🏽
@@streetdreamz8056 bro I have a question. What would cause the bike not to want to get into gear. Like it didn’t want to get into neutral. Did I do something wrong? Or can it be something with the clutch cable ? The bike is used I got it with 49k miles. Idk if I got a messed up bike.. anything will help bro i appreciate you
@@secureyourdreamz So it wont shift to first gear or neutral? do you hear it clicking into gear when you try? and does the bike start up and run when your holding the clutch down? its a pretty old bike could be the shifter itself
@@streetdreamz8056 I couldn’t get it to turn on because of the fact that I couldn’t get the bike to get in neutral. I kept trying. Do you think it can be the key? The key is kind of bent and I have to finagle it so it can turn, but even so.. I took the key out and after 15 mins or so I tried again and it finally went into N and I was able to turn it on
How is the bike for daily riding enjoying it? Maybe riding it for like 1-2 hours a day. I've heard your back can hurt, but what has your experiences with it in terms of comfortablility
I will say its not bad at first start each ride but me personally need to stop every hour to hour 1/2 to rest my knees wrist and ass.😂 as long as you take breaks throughout the day its not bad to use as a daily. not at all
the 2024 zx6r is the first bike that allows for upshifting and downshifting without clutch. You still have to use clutch everytime you come to a stop and starting off in 1st gear
With shifting up i would say 8k to 9k and as long as your not exceeding max rpm between gears. you will be able to downshift any gear.. check out my part 2 of this video on shifting
Homie in a miata wanted to go this morning. Lol lil mt03 was there for the run. See ya manual miata guy! 😂😎 Not that I be trying to do that but homeboy was shiftin bro. Peace
so when you talk about not exceeding the RPM when downshifting- how do you know you’re not exceeding the specific RPM limit of the last gear you were in?? is that the 8,000, or is that something different for each gear?
its 8k for every gear change.. by the time you get to 5th gear using 8k to gear change you'll be right around 100mph using this method.. (side note) 2nd gears max rpm can hit 100mph alone. so by you being in 5th gear theres plently of room to drop down because your not exceeding 2nd gears max rpm speed of 100mph
Great part 2 to your original video. Very good info. Thank you for taking the time to makes this video!
Thanks bro i remember you were one of the ones that asked about this. Glad i could help and i appreciate you watching🙏🏽

@@secureyourdreamz neutral is a half a click up from 1st gear. its in between 1st and 2nd gear

Now in 2024 the quickshifter is added by default. So the left paddle is for what ?

also you still have to pull in the clutch as you come to a stop or the bike will stall

Can you shift even though you giving a throttle?
@@ZennieShavaheld yes. you can but only if the bike has quick shifter option
@@streetdreamz8056 it have a quick shift said by my friend zx 6r
@@streetdreamz8056 doing gear while giving a throttle is bad ?
@@ZennieShavaheld no its actually better. a smooth transition

do you ride? i be all over the place bro

Glad you have a jacket on this time... Dress for the slide and not the ride.
😂 i usually wear chest armour with a sweat shirt.. gloves and boots
@@streetdreamz8056 if it's too hot for leathers it's too hot to ride.
I can ride it in just 1 day of practice:3
You definetly can bro, its not hard to learn.
@@streetdreamz8056 yeah
Just need a smooth control over the clutch and the throttle (at least for me)
