I have a avs bugflector 2 that I need to install on a toyota sienna. Why do some of the videos on your site show sticky tape with them and others don't? Mine did not come with sticky tape and now I am wondering if it was something that just got left out
I bought the same thing for my tundra and it didn’t fit it hung over 5mm. And one side would fit and the other wouldn’t. Then it broke as I tried to reposition it.
I keep getting the wrong one from Amazon. It looks nothing like the one you are using in the video. It has no tape on it and a flange sticking out the front of it. I have no idea what it fits but it’s not a 2012 SR5 Tundra.
This video is for 2022-2023 Tundra. We have them available for the 2012 model but no install video yet. Here is the link yotaxpedition.com/products/hood-bugflector-protector-tundra-2007-2021
@ maybe if you bought the low profile one. The high profile is only tapped down along side the edge of hood. I had serval style deflectors on my cars, cleaned the surface and promoted well with the liquid bonding and they always come right off after few weeks. If you live in hot area. The sun will heat up that glue and pop that deflector right off. BELIEVE ME…will fly right off 😂
I would go with the bug deflector thx for helping me out to choose
That's what we're here for!
Add the little bumpers to the hood so they don’t vibrate/rub against paint if they’re stuck to hood visor
Which do you recommend more: AVS or Weathertech?
How will this work during a car wash ?
For the models that stick up off the hood, I wouldn't recommend going through a auto carwash unless it is touchless.

Every vehicle is different. I am unsure how the Sienna is.

I would reach out to AVS and see if you can get a replacement
How do you remove it in a couple of years?
If it's just the tape you can use a heat gun and lift it evenly if possible. Little by little.

That’s shits going to fly right off
Believe me it's not going anywhere. We removed one from a 4Runner and it kept breaking off in small pieces because it was stuck so well.
