    I really like a 3mm open cell free diving two piece suit. The open cell feels great on your skin, keeps you much warmer, and very flexible. The built in hood is great also.

    I use a 7mm Henderson Aqualock wetsuit in Lake George NY in March and I didn't feel cold at all.

    I wear a 3mm Quantum Roo triathlon wet suit when the waters 32 degree to 58 degrees in Lake Michigan when I snorkel or Scuba dive . I wish I could find gloves that actually keep my fingers warm for more then a 1/2 mile ... the second 1/2 mile my fingers always start getting COLD . Yes- I did try mittens but didn't lie them

    For some rough orientation. I use the 2,5 mm shorty for indoor diving. 5mm for red sea diving. Used the 7mm for european lakes, yet changed this one recently for a drysuit.

    Yes thank you. I don't have my dive license yet but this summer is the plan. I picked SDI as my dive school. Was going to get mares hard sole size 12 boot but don't know what fin to pick to put it in . Please recommend If you can.
