At 205 he’s bigger, better, stronger, more durable, and even more power. 205 Poatan is literally a tank with a cannon. To beat him you’ll have to submit him on the ground.

Jiri demonstrates mental strength after a huge loss in his career. This is no different from everyday life when we fail at something like an exam, a business, etc. Most of us can’t understand Jiri’s position getting knocked out in front of thousands, and a video that goes viral in front of millions. I understand it’s his job and that’s what he signed up for, but to train for weeks, stay inside a shed for 3 days to meditate and avoid all distractions, giving up everything shows how resilient Jiri is after a loss. Much respect to him.

you have to be smart about how you train. You can't have the same patterns in your training and expect different results. It won't matter how hard you train. Practice does not make it perfect, it makes it permanent. He needs to improve his striking defence and grappling if he wants to beat alex.

that's my feeling too. without wanting to sound too harsh.. and I am no expert. but he was leaving himself way way way too open. I think that he actually thought that he had his defense covered. But I get the feeling that he hadn't really tested it properly. It actually seemed borderline delusional. Someone Alex's experience can see straight through that. All he has to do is keep distance, and wait for an opening to come within range. Jiri needs to take things way back to fundamentals
