I keep saying this, Andy and Kelly are to surf what Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher are Formula 1. Schumacher might have all the most world titles and in paper the best in the world but if you ask anyone in the sport they will say Senna. For me Andy is the same, Kelly might have most titles but Andy was something special. His lines, his style, the way he surfed looked like so easy like he was always playing around, competition or free surf. AI Forever, gone not forgotten.

Alohas andy...my father and i use to tell each other that heaven was whatever was the most greatest memory u had and when u pass thats where u would forever reighn through the ages. Life is so precious and so quick in our day to day life most forget....everytime i look back the things that weigh the most for my stoke are memories and when my time comes the only thing that will remotely matter is that....judge your success by the smiles on their faces
My hubs surfs & I don’t pay attention but I watched the Kissed by God & was crying at the end. People would say they wished they could have my brain bc I’m incredibly gifted in Math & I have photographic memory. Things come super easy to me. But I can’t stop my mind from thinking & it’s a struggle & horrible disorder. I can’t sleep & then I get anxiety. If u look at people who are truly gifted in something it usually comes with a mental struggle & I felt his pain. He was extremely talented.

So i have the oportunity to hanged out with the . . .Lost team like Wardo, Aaron "Gorky" Cormican, and i used to live in the famoust "LOST House" that it's in the top corner of Calafia and i couch surf in that house for a couple years and that house was the shit because there were parties everyday, music, people and a Lot of girls drinking a Lot of beers, and just party like the video of ... Lost called the declined of surfing civilization , where it's one of My favorite surf videos because that video it's rad starting cause of Randall and the whole Lost team showing the Insanity of what it's really going on at the ... Lost parties , burning their hair on fire , throwing Randall súper drunk on a surfboard down the stairs many times until Randall broke the wall making a hole in the wall with his head. Girls , punk rock , gnarly surfing clips and the Insanity i general of how pro surfers can party like a a rock star. That house in the top of Calafia in San Clemente California was called the Lost house because in that Big cool house used to live these characters that used to work for ... Lost, like Chucky Rigano (Chuckyloopo), Scott Metzner which in the beggining of ... Lost he Made possible Catalyst surf shop and then he started working as a manager of Timmy Patterson surfboards and also he is a talented artist that paints amazing art in the mayority of the Timmy Patterson surfboards and also in the surfboards of some of the pro surfers in the world. Like right now Italo Ferreira's surfboards. Cody was the Sander of the surfboards, Jhonny Thunderfoot it used to work at one of the ...Lost Warehouse, My Best Friend from Costa Rica Diego he wasnt part of the ... Lost team but he was part of it because he is súper cool dude and everybody loves Diego. And then i was couch surfing in the house of the rithym. IC Tavern was 2 blocks away so after OC Tavern closed at 2 AM everyone ended up going to keep the party at the Calafia's house. Well long story short i was one afternoon at the house and someone knocked the front Door and it was Wardo asking for Diego but Diego was at work so i told Wardo that if you want come inside and drink a beer with me and he told me if he could bring inside Andy Irons to drink a few beers and i was like fucked yeah bro. You guys are My héroes and that it's how i met Andy Irons through Wardo drinking a couple Coronas in the Calafia house (... Lost house). And that little time that i got to meet Andy Irons i can Say that he was super cool dude and actually he was kind enough to invited me the beers with Wardo, then we took a car ride in one of those Bad ass classic Cars that Wardo has to check the waves at the State Park which it's in the bottom of Calafia. Nope, AI was a great surfer,no doubt but he had an inflated ego and the film was true to his dark side. His untimely death had to do with drug compsution overdose and that's why his family kept it a secret. Again, he was a great surfer but like most of us humans he was fighting his own demons.
