QUESTION...
I had read that if you put various species,or colors of shrimp together,that they will eventually breed out their unique colors and patterns and revert back to the colors found in nature.I have a simple setup with ghost shrimp,neon yellow goldenbacks and blue velvets.
I have noticed my young yellows are rather drab...not vibrant yellow like their grandparents.
What do you folks know about the interbreeding claim.

Great video! We're there any adverse effects from feeling banana? I have a 200gal community pond in my basement that I use to water my garden with, I'm showing signs of potassium deficiencies in my plants and was thinking of a weekly feeding of banana peal to add back some potassium without having to add or purchase nutrients... any thoights?
Banana peel will be alright the odd time, I wouldnt feed fresh fruit into a shrimp tank that has a suger content.

i bought 10 red cherry shrimps n only 4 survived after a month... now 2 have eggs, should i clean the tank (suck out the poops on the substrate)?

At 3:10 minutes i noticed 2 small snails were up at the edge of water, I have a lot of them in my aquarium, I can not use Helena snail as it will eat shrimps too, i am trying by hand to pick them up but it is something with no end, always everyday picking up 20 or 30 small snails, do you have any solution for that? thanks
its ether hand picking them out or chemical removal, the chemical removal method can be very harsh on the shrimp tank in that it can mess with the cycle, best way is by hand.

It could literally be anything, are you aging your water? do you drip the water back in? are you overfeeding?
@@MarksShrimpTanks I do not overfeed and I pour water in normally. If there is a molt, it is dead

did you acclimate the shrimp or just chuck it in?
@@MarksShrimpTanks I made but only half an hour. is it because of that? how can this situation be corrected? I don't use mineral shrimp, I just feed it and change the water once a week, is this because I don't use mineral shrimp?
yes its because of the acclimation, not much you can do about it now but hope they make it, if they do drip all your water changes, to know if your water needs minerals you would have to buy a gh and kh water test kit to measure whats in your water.

Could you do a video on inexperienced females dropping eggs? Went over to my new tank and saw a female with eggs, hours later she dropped them idk......
In my opinion female shrimp drop eggs when you do to larger a water change to fast. drip all water.
