When I was travelling the last time, I saw this young couple at my gate running around trying to find a socket to charge their phone. They had the plug to charge, just nowhere to plug it in. Since I saw they were going on my flight, I walk over to them and loaned them my fully charged powerbank. They were so grateful and when they returned it after about 1 hour of flying they said I saved them. Because they had to call someone to get them at the airport when we would land at the middle of the night. But with a dead phone that would have been an issue. I was more then happy to help them, all my things were fully charged…just in case. I never go without my powerbank.
I am such a Packing junkie! These are some good tips to remember. I also like to bring a large packable duffel bag in the event that if I have overweight, luggage ---depending of the airline, it might be cheaper to just pay for an additional bag rather than the extra overweight baggage fee.
I love your top! Color looks great on you! Your new ring is a compliment to your wedding set! You’re very stylish! Great video! I must say, I look forward to your vlogs in the evening because your voice is relaxing.
I loved this. I take packing seriously and I'm quite minimalist. I really enjoy seeing what other people pack and getting ideas. I'm off to Canada in June and can't wait to pack. I always have a microfiber cloth in a small plastic bag for any inflight spillages and a disposable large sandwich bag to drop all the waste from food and drinks that clutter up the tray. When we have finished I just tie it up and drop it into the rubbish when they collect it. When we depart the plane you wouldn't know we have been there. I get a really good reaction from the cabin crew.
I hated vacuum seal bags. I travelled to Korea for two weeks with those and they wrinkled the hell out of my clothes, also, it was a nightmare to try and squish them together without a vacuum cleaner. I had the squeeze out version because I knew I would not have access to a vacuum cleaner. It was bulky, it was messy to redo them all the time (we switched apartments 3 times). Never again. Compression packing cubes are the greatest option if you don't want to cause yourself a nervous breakdown.
Erm, I work in the plastic industry. Polycarbonate is an okay choice, but if you want really strong material, go for PP (Polyropylene) shells. btw, there is nothing wrong with fabric suitcases. I have travelled with a cabin size fabric roller for over 10 years and it was also checked a few times, it's not even a fancy brand, and it holds up beautifully. it got rained on, snowed on, no problems at all.
How timely! Preparing my packing list as I will be going to Paris for the month of July. I was beginning to look for a few vlogs and here you are! The algorithm gods are not playing! I am trying not to pack too much clothing but I want options. I will definitely have to look at your vacuum bags vlog. I was always on the fence. I am pretty sure after watching your vlog I will get off of it! I am with you on the supplements. Good to see you! Your good vibration comes through the screen😊
