    I am a vocal performance major in the transfer process and I always overlooked this channel as somewhat simplistic but its turning out to be a wonderful review for placement exams and the format is very visually pleasing. It is bizarre. I'm mainly reviewing for nerves reasons and I get really nervous while doing so even but this video almost put me to sleep in the best way. A welcome relief from all of the poorly formatted/ purposefully stressful materials out there! Life saver!

      Jade Neal Sory so long to reply- the system held your comment for review for some reason. Thank you so much! I’m am flattered to know you are finding benefit from the channel - dear me, I understand the anxiety of those auditions! Good luck to you!

    Would you mind adding singing to them? Practecing with my kids and they benefit from a word connected with the note (like you do with the do re mi fa...) would be great!

    I'm a little confused. When I learned minor scales in high school we didn't start on la but on do. For example, we sang the natural minor as do re me fa so le te do. This video is throwing me off.

      It’s just two different ways to sing minor- both are correct. We just call them “la-based minor” and “do-based minor”. I prefer la-based minor.

    Why "Si" in this video, instead of "So"?

    • @TheSingingSchool
      @TheSingingSchool  6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      If you know how to read music, “Si” is like “So”-sharp.

    • @jaapbadlands
      @jaapbadlands 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Two different notes. Si and So are both in there.
